The Hash Bros have a full bowl packed this week as they dive into the Super Bowl, prop bets around it, as well as the hot and cold messages sent by the NFL who granted significant research money to benefits of cannabinoids, but also rejected a Super Bowl commercial for Weedmaps. After that is a due discussion of the impending NBA trade deadline, discussing major moves from Portland, Sacramento, New Orleans, and Indiana and the implications thereof. Hosts: Chandler Songer, Joshua Hatler
The Hash Bros lost some amazing content this week due to a technical issue on Hatty's end, which surely has nothing to do with his consumption of marijuana. They get into a great discussion however, about the NBA All Star starters, including their own projections of who should earn spots in the reserve pool for each conference. Does anybody deserve the Andrew Wiggins spot over him? How will an injury-laden pool of Western front court players affect the roster? How many guards is too many guards?

The Hash Bros. are back and blazing hotter than ever before! In the season 2 premiere, Chan and Hatty catch up on life and sports alike, recapping a dramatic NFL divisional weekend briefly before a quick sesh to catch up on what they have missed the past couple of months. Finally, the boys take each other to another Hot Box Hot Seat to press one another on the future of their respective NFL teams. Thanks for your patience through our hiatus, and we look forward to an exciting season full of new and exciting content for weed and sports fans alike!
Happy Veteran's Day from the Hash Out Boys and thank you to all who have served! This week, Chan and Hatty got some serious grievances to air out, and they do it the only way they know how: with a bong in hand. In Hot Box Hot Seat, the boys are tasked with getting particularly ripped and defending and/or venting about topics pertaining to their favorite teams and players (6:49). Today's discussion includes Von Miller's seemingly half-baked trade to the Rams (10:01), Nikola "Grown Man" Jokic standing up to a bully  in a slightly disproportionate manner (19:12), Aaron Rodgers way-too-eagerly digging himself deeper into a hole with his vaccine statements (29:55), and whether the Packers can offer OBJ the right package to sign in Green Bay (41:31). After that, they cool down by reflecting on the midway point of their incredibly wacky fantasy season in Sloppy Steaks, Inc (46:40) before awarding a very trippy Golden Dutchie (1:02:04) Also, a special shout out to super producer Bumby, who unfortunately lost his beloved cat, Ursula this past week. Ursula was a fantastic companion to a truly fantastic human, and is gone far too soon. Our hearts go out to Bumby as he grieves this loss. Hosts: Joshua Hatler, Chandler Songer Producer: Austin Bumbalough
The Hash Out Boys are back after a week long hiatus, and man oh man is there a lot to catch up on. Chan and Hatty begin by reacting to the ESPN piece that dropped incriminating Robert Sarver's history of racism and misogyny that has permeated the Phoenix Suns organization (0:02:02) before taking a wider look at the NBA, including a ranking of new City Jerseys (0:16:15) and a brief round of Reggie, Mid, or Gas around some hot ticket hoopers (0:33:05). After that, the boys get into the NFL, discussing the tragic news that Henry Ruggs III was responsible for drunkenly crashing into another driver, ending her life (0:46:39) before brightening up the mood giving out some mid season dutchie awards as we go into the halfway point of the season (0:52:39). Hosts: Joshua Hatler, Chandler Songer Producer: Austin Bumbalough
The Hash Out Boys are back a day late (better late than never) to share their excitement about the brand new NBA season! After highlighting some favorite games this past week, Chan and Hatty discuss Allen Iverson's partnership with Al Harrington and Viola as laid out in a recent GQ piece (0:06:50) before going into the first ever NBA Flower Rankings, where the boys rank all 30 NBA teams from 30 to 1 based on how much they would like to have a smoke sesh with each team (13:30). Finally, they wrap up with another installment of the Golden Dutchie, where they check in on Drake's court side antics. Hosts: Chandler Songer, Joshua Hatler Producer: Austin Bumbalough
The Hash Out Boys begin by celebrating the life of Hatty's recently passed father before diving into NBA topics with the beginning of the season being less than a full week away. They first discuss the announcement that the NBA will continue the suspension of random marijuana tests (0:03:15) before getting into a wider range of topics, including catching up on hot topic players, giving their most galaxy brained hot takes on the NBA season, and provide Puff/Pass Predictions for the opening night double-header (0:19:15). Afterwards, they highlight a unique upcoming event in Arizona featuring independent MMA fighting and a full fledged marijuana expo (0:36:44) before ending the day with a new and improved Golden Dutchie Award format (0:46:27) Hosts: Chandler Songer, Joshua Hatler Producer: Austin Bumbalough ig: @thehashout_pod @hashout_hatty @chandlersonger Twitter: @TheHashOutPod Be sure to check out The Hash Out every Thursday as well as Hash Out Historians on Mondays.
In this installment of Hash Out Historians, Chan profiles the tumultuous life of Mike Tyson, one of the most prominent boxers of all time, and explores his turbulent upbringing, unprecedented boxing career, and some of the more atrocious chapters of Iron Mike's story, all before discussing Tyson's past, present, and future with marijuana and other mind-expanding substances.  Host: Chandler Songer Producer: Austin Bumbalough
Chan and Hatty start this week's episode with a brief catch up on the MLB playoff picture, including prescriptions on how to improve the League's post-season format (0:03:09) before discussing NBA Hall of Famer Chris Webber's new marijuana venture, Players Only (0:10:08), as well as news that the World Anti-Doping Agency is reexamining weed's status as a banned substance (0:21:30). Afterwards, the Hash Out Boys jump across the leagues in a game of Reggie/Mid/Gas (0:37:34), and wrap it up with another installment of the Golden Dutchie Award (1:00:36). Hosts: Chandler Songer Producer: Austin Bumbalough
In this first installment of Hash Out Historians, Hatty profiles the life and career of cult hero and former NFL running back, Ricky Williams. Discussing the mental and physical turmoil that Ricky saw over the years, Hatty asks if marijuana suspensions were ever necessary and reflects on how public perception of Ricky Williams has shifted over 15 years from the burnout who threw his career away to a folk hero in the fight against marijuana prohibition. Hosted and produced by Joshua Hatler
Join Chan and Hatty as they go through news from NBA Media Day, including implications of the few players wishing not to get vaccinated (0:01:57) before getting into a long discussion on Josh Gordon's return to the NFL and what his story tells us about the moving lines of mental health in sports (0:23:10), as well as Puff Pass Predictions on NFL week 4 matchups that they're most excited about (0:48:45). Finally, they award a new Golden Dutchie, this time comparing the stoned-ness of two television gaffes (0:58:20) Hosts: Chandler Songer, Joshua Hatler Producer: Austin Bumbalough
Thank you so much for a successful first episode! To thank you, Chan and Hatty are digging deep in the vault (2 weeks ago) to bring you a segment from our unaired pilot recording. Hatty asks Chan to rank 3 people, items, etc, into reggie (don't pass me dat), mid (smoke it if I gotta), or gas (dat loud loud). We love this segment and would love to return to it in future episodes. Hosts: Chandler Songer, Joshua Hatler Producer: Austin Bumbalough Brought to you by Critter Vision Studios
Join Chandler Songer and Joshua Hatler in their pilot episode of The Hash Out, in which they predict what in NFL week 3 is worth puffing on and what should get passed to the left before drafting a fantasy smoke session of athletes turned musicians. Finally they'll award the inaugural Golden Dutchie Award to the athlete who demonstrates the most stoner behavior. Find out if bad money moves or poor time management wins the first bestowal of this prestigious award. Hosts: Chandler Songer, Joshua Hatler Producer: Austin Bumbalough
