Join us on this episode as our Exec Board from last year reflects on our impact through advocacy, service and more.  Lexi Reidel graduated with a BS in pharmaceutical sciences from the Purdue College of Pharmacy in May of 2021 with a certificate in intercultural and collaborative leadership.  During her time in Timmy, she served as a development committee member (2018-19), the internal development service strategist (2019-20), and the VP of Service during the 2020-21 academic year. She was also involved in drug discovery research and was a TA for anatomy & physiology during her time at Purdue. Apart from academics, she loves to hike, enjoy music, and watch anime or a good history documentary. Looking towards the future, Lexi will be starting her Masters in Public Health at Purdue during the  fall of 2021. Following her masters she will be applying to medical school. Max Bebekoski is a Class of 2021 Purdue University West Lafayette graduate. He received his Bachelor of Science in Management with double majors in Finance and General Management, minor in French, member of the Purdue University Honors College, and Spring 2021 Undergraduate Research Conference 3rd-place award winner for the Krannert School of Management. For post graduation plans, Max will be preparing for the LSAT exam as he begins the application process towards law school and starting in Fall 2022. Shruthi Garimella graduated with a BS in Biological Engineering from Purdue in May 2021 with minors in biotechnology and environmental politics as well as a certificate in public policy—she believes that policy can be a tool to implement change and discoveries.  Within Purdue Timmy, Shruthi served as a co-director of Education from 2019-20 and then VP of Advocacy for the 2020-21 academic year.  She also served as a teaching and research assistant in a biotechnology lab for 2 years.  Outside of school, she loves to paint, listen to music, and daydream. Beginning in the fall of 2021, Shruthi will be attending UC Davis to pursue her MS in Chemical Engineering with a focus on biotechnology and sustainability. Noor Abdullah is now a senior at Purdue majoring in Biology and Global Studies. Within Timmy, Noor served as a co-director of Education from 2019-20 and President for the 2020-21 academic year. Her other campus involvements include Boiler Gold Rush International, undergraduate research in the Kasinski Lab, the Purdue Brain Exercise Initiative, and serving as next year’s Reading is Leading Chair for Mortar Board. She loves to volunteer with kids, play tennis, hike, and watch A24 movies. As for future plans, she is currently applying to medical school.
