I see that Colin has found yet another angle to express his complete and utter hatred for the part of the country that lies between the coasts.

Baseball's commissioner would throw himself off a cliff if MLB had the NBA's ratings. Also, national letter-of-intent day SHOULD out perform the sliver of time on a Saturday that a college team is performing. Set aside the fact that there are many more hours in the day that a high school student can sign a letter of intent. Just the fact that the game is not only takes a small number of hours but is also in competition against half the other games that weekend is another limiting factor.

Where's my herd Saturday podcast? I was beginning to really look forward to those. As you always eschew Colin, your best ability is availability. My Saturday yardwork listening is prime real estate, if I'm gonna call you up to the big leagues and put you in the game facing consistent hitters like TED talks, or a legendary, possible G.O.A.T. podcast like This American Life, you gotta be there when the skipper calls. Oh well, hope you had a good day, I'll look for you next weekend.

Colin's opening point about power is perhaps one of the dumbest things I have ever heard. Also, how did Shaq change the league? I won't argue that he wasn't dominant, but it's not like we had never had teams whose offenses were based on having a great big man in the paint that opened up the outside shooting. I think we CAN probably say that perhaps he was the last of the great big men before basketball devolved into a three-point shooting contest. And, of course, no conversation about baseball - a sport that Colin can barely disguise he hates - would be complete without him demonstrating he knows absolutely nothing about how to analyze it. Hell, even argued for and against the same point as far as letting people play and having personalities. Note how he's perfectly fine with expressing personality as long as they do it like an NBA player or a diva wide receiver might, but not if part of that personality may include throwing at a guy who showed you up by flipping his bat the previous at bat or the previous day. And he clearly doesn't understand why the Cuban way of playing baseball has posed a bit of an issue when it comes to trying to play team-oriented baseball in MLB.

Enough already with how everyone falls all over themselves to try to convince us how intelligent LeBron James is. I hate to speak for others, but I think it's fairly safe to say that by and large we've not seen much evidence to support that assertion.

Last I checked, the Steelers didn't get into the playoffs BEFORE losing Brown and Bell. Why WOULD they be favored as maybe top 10?

L L not gonna happen man. juju and connor aren't at that level especially when they are the sole targets. so far we haven't seen any off season improvements from Pittsburgh

L L Thing is, we have little real evidence that those two were actually locker room cancers. We know AB became a diva, but that is not a new development. The duo was painted as a problem this past season - a season in which they had a decent replacement at running back and both Brown and Juju ... and still couldn't make the playoffs. I do not see the team better without them unless some other changes are made as well. And the franchise isn't exactly known for being able to turn on a dime

Nice tone-deafness here. Doesn't like "midgets" and classifies salaries that most people in the country never reach as "nothing" and "decent." I think I'll stick to the podcasts done by professionals.

+Way to list off an extensive list of recent SB winners outside of the Eagles (Rams, Cowboys, Bears) while slamming the Packers and the middle 4/5 of the country that Colin has been all too clear about absolutely despising. +Has Rodgers really been having all that much trouble over the past decade finding a go-to receiver or three on his roster? It's the other things that he does like audibling out of plays that are going to work, and extending plays where it's not needed, that seem to be causing the problems. +Of course adding a quality receiver helped Dak Prescott. Dak Prescott isn't talented like Roger is. Less-talented quarterbacks need superior receivers. A guy who can throw like Rodgers doesn't. It's a nice weapon to have, but not remotely necessary. +Remember all those SB wins the Pats had w Moss? +You can always tell how desperate Cowherd is to convince everyone else that Russell Wilson is a first-ballot hall-of-famer by how many times he feels it's necessary to mention it. +I worked in the media in Green Bay for a few years. Antonio Brown's act will not last in Green Bay. They've gotten rid of guys with much better heads on their shoulders for far less.

I'd almost forgotten the disdain Cowherd has for almost the entirety of the country that exists between the coasts. The discussion of how to build a newspaper sports section reminded me.
