Here is a moment from Episode 224 with JJ4K.
On today's show I caught up with Mason. Giving one big finger to trends, genres and mediocrity has been Mason’s mantra for over twenty years. His studio creations and energy behind the decks are a direct reflection of this personality. Equal parts groove, melody and eccentricity the Dutchman avoids jumping on electronic music bandwagons at all costs. “I could make club music fodder all day, but that would just bore me shitless. I like to challenge myself and my audience a bit more than that!” says Mason on his production ethos. You may know Mason from his breakout single back in 2007 (‘Exceeder’), yet he would be the first to tell you that things have moved on a hell of a lot since those times. The boy has released three fully-fledged artist albums featuring a plethora of guest artists. Recent partners in crime include Dragonette, Jack Garratt, Stefflon Don and Alex Clare.
Here is a moment from Episode 223 with Abhi The Nomad

So much so he’s become a go-to collaborator for the biggest hip hop artist of all time, Eminem. Having wrote and sung on 5 songs in the last few albums, Habits comes in as the latest hit in their collaborative discography. White Gold also produced that record. He rounds off his contribution on the album with an ear-worm of a hook on Bad One. His previous efforts are You Gon’ Learn and the controversial Zeus which Eminem took a jab at Snoop Dogg. This year marks the year White Gold will introduce people to his own music and put out projects that is sure to impact the genre.

On today's show I caught up with Shenai Johnston. Shenai Johnston is a Country music singer-songwriter from Western Australia. With a passion for living on the land, Shenai writes her music from the heart, either by the river or on her small olive farm in the lower South West where she resides with her husband and three children. Raised in the small town of Ongerup, WA Shenai was singing from the moment she could talk and took up every opportunity to perform at school and community events. After winning a fender guitar in her adolescence, she started getting lessons and this encouraged her songwriting and helped to shape her into the artist she is today. In March 2024 Shenai flew over to Nashville, Tennessee and recorded her first EP of five tracks. Her first single from the EP “Ever Again” released on May 3rd 2024 and saw Shenai make her official debut into country music with a big bang. Her second single “Made For Living On The Land” showcases Shenai’s deep connection to her roots and living in the country. The entire EP is due to be released by mid July 2024. In October, Shenai is hitting the road and is booked to play at multiple venues across WA including opening for Beccy Cole on October 19 and playing the Mt Trio Country Music Muster. This is just the beginning for the West Australian singer who aims to release her debut album in 2025.
On today's show I caught up with Max Berman. "Max Berman is a man of many wonder. He can read book. He write good. He very tall. But most importantly, he studied forestry (nerd). His best friend and frequent collaborator Gus Glasser is super sexy and definitely not writing this bio right now."
On today's show I caught up with Isadora. Egyptian Australian-raised, Isadora is cementing her place in the music scene.Isadora’s unmistakable sensual sonics drip with confidence, self love and a mission to speak her mind with no care for controversy.
