I recently traveled in India for two and a half weeks. For 14 days of that time I stayed at a an ashram called Yoga Niketan, where I practiced yoga and meditated twice daily. While there I had the opportunity to learn about yogic philosophy from a Guru that lived at the Ashram. We had daily discussions about the deep layers of the mind and how we can live a more peaceful life by calming it. This is a recording of one of the sessions. I'm excited to share this with you because this man has been living as a Yogi for many years. He has wisdom that has been attained directly from his experience of sitting in meditation for hours on end. So I hope you enjoy and can take something away from this episode. As always, thank you for your love and support!
I recently worked on a project to give the homeless community of Arizona a voice. I was fortunate enough to be able to talk to four amazing women. These are their stories of how they got to where they are today. As I documented these stories and talked to other people in the homeless community, I noticed that a good amount of these people were in the situation they are in because of misfortune and the lack of support they had through this misfortune. I think we can all learn something from these stories. I know that the good majority of people in this world are doing the best they can with what they've got and if we can all understand that I think we have a good place to move forward with how we want to take actions on things that will benefit society as a whole. As always, thank you for listening. Enjoy! Instagram: @jadsdispo Twitter: @humandispo Facebook: @thehumandisposition Website: jadenram.wixsite.come/thehumandisposition
