Hey Legends,
Today I chat to you about the glorious crossover between Magic and Comedy. I am excited to announce that we have a strong group of global comedians enrolled for the online course. They will be leading the Humour Revolution from the US, Malaysia and the Philippines (low key teeing up connections for future holidays & tours). Comics Unite! I talk about the power of uniting with fellow comedy lovers from different places in the world. You know I am going to leave you to have a little cuddle with my puppy, Miss Honey June AKA Cutie Renegade.
The next course has just opened for enrolment. To secure your spot, head to: https://www.dorothymay.online/comedycourse

Tonight, I chat about my leisurely stroll as Queen of Ashgrove, meeting the village people (sings YMCA)... and the interesting interactions that were had. I touch on my experience running Week Two of the Comedy Course and my hopes for the next intake. I chat blog ideas and what I love about the Course Booklet (including a bit of a breakdown). Let's touch on why this course is awesome for comics and non-comics alike. I advocate for the blaming of an audience if a show sucks (Haha, joking? Sort of). I feel like that is a podcast in itself- essentially it's a relationship- and sometimes your audience can be a crappy boyfriend. Your audience can also be the love of your life and we dig that.

We will be funny, or you can kill us, but you will have to get in line because Al Capone from the local Barber shops already called dibs.
We are just trying to bring you joy and make your life less miserable. MWAH.
Today I share some snippets from this weeks one-on-ones. Two of our comics just started with us. It was cool to hear how their first weeks going. I enjoyed looking back on my work with Ben. I think that this will give some of our future comics the bravery to book in for a late enrolment before Sunday. There is no time like the present.

Hello Folks,
Let's talk about what you can do to move your comedy muscles & how you can build your skill and audience. I also talk about the benefits of having a niche demographic. Enjoy!
Today I have a little rant on some silliness that I think needs to be put in the toilet.
Thank you to the local businesses that have reached out to support us this week. If you would like to collaborate in a meaningful way, reach out.
Today I chat to you about the first session of the course. I talk about how awesome Stand-Up is for artists to feel valuable and unique in their voice. I also am wondering how many grown-ups out there buy vegetables that they never eat.
Hello, today is day five and I am fast tracking my way to feeling comfortable here. I chat to you about pies and cookies, so maybe wait until you have had dinner. I talk about threads, my business update and the open landscape that is Comedy.
The Comedy Course starts tomorrow, so last minute sign-ups can happen HERE
Slow to the upload today, had to let my rage simmer down before I could talk. I am standing in solidarity with American Writers and Actors... and well, the global community. This will effect us all. I share where I am at with the latest launch and some random notes from my phone.
Sign Up to the Patreon if you would like to support the production of this Podcast. I also have a Daily Blog about Comedy for your pleasure! Now more than ever, the message to support independent artists is a strong one. We will redefine the industry and bring value back to the form for everyone to feel joy.
Today took me by surprise. I share with you how I found myself in the comedy space, why I care so much about it. Share your story. Find me in The Humour Experiment DMS.
