Used to like this podcast, until he went off on a rant about Trump. I listen to these podcasts to get away from politics. Guess I'm done with this one.

A well thought out and spoken episode. Thank you for addressing issues that affect us all. Even though it's not all hunting it still affects the hunting community.

Psst, I know your military education kept this hush-hush but it took almost a week of nation wide riots for the Civil Rights Act to be enacted after the MLK assassination. Without burning a fucking cop shop, this would have been forgotten in a few days...just like Tamir Rice, Philando Castille, etc., etc., etc.

Yeahhhh...soooo Edison probably wasn't broken up because most of what he lost was probably really invented by others. Tesla actually did the work, so maybe it was a little bigger deal to him 🤷‍♂️

This guy was interesting to listen to. He is clearly emotionally invested in this subject and isn't willing to hear the other side, and takes any alternative to his view as an affront to him personally. Yes he's an academic, but he isn't unbiased as he claims.

Last time I checked in Alaska killing bears in den with cubs isnt even close to being legal. The only exception they make on the issue up here is when it's done under tribal rights. If your not part of that bubble it is a completely illegal. Aside from that I get that everyone has different views as they should, we are not cut from the same mold. That being said half way in this guy just wants to pick a fight because someone doesnt agree with every word he lays out there.

Normally I don't comment on podcasts like this....but I am cracking up at them all going back and forth giving hilarious descriptions of William Perry Pendley! On a serious note... pretty horrible what he is about, and trying to do to public lands.

Cripes...this frickin' episode. Anyone who sticks an animal in the guts with a crossbow @ 50 yards isn't going to be any better with a rifle @ 100. Archery killed animals shot in the same spot as a rifle will typically expire more peacefully. smh

The "hunting community" has done this to themselves by a) picking the orange dude in their primary & b) putting him in the WH. Cry all you want but no D president has done the damage to hunting & outdoor interests that R's have done in the last 40 years...but keep voting R...

Awesome podcast. Ben does a great job tackling some complex issues in the hunting world. And more importantly he does a great job allowing the listeners to hear hunting stories from multiple people. the podcast gives new hunters a chance to hear the true side of hunting that rarely get portrayed in most media.

i don't see the ethical issue of hunting to feed your dog. why should someone be expected to go buy manmade kibble from a store?
