@dudethathunts and I get to sit down for a long-awaited podcast. We've worked so many hours to get to sit together to talk about our journey. Even to podcasting for this episode, it is such an epic journey. In this episode, we recount our days on the mountain chasing elk for my first time. So many lessons were learned and we still have so many to learn.
Listen in on how archery has helped Sam get over many obstacles, grown closer to his wife, and overall getting back to loving his life. I started to get to know Sam while I was going to Anytime Fitness. Training heavily for a Montana Elk hunt that I have coming up with my buddy, he and I immediately hit it off. Be sure to subscribe and share!
It's so easy guys to get caught in the rat race of watching others. Seeming like they've got it all together like they've got all the answers. I sit down with Jason Feldt, owner of Bowhunter Box Club, not realizing that it had just been 13 months ago since we sat down for the first Hunting Product Guru Podcast. One thing he and I didn't even realize or plan was how much entrepreneur talk we'd actually have. Throughout we talk about our businesses, what it takes to run them, and how taking the leap has changed our day-to-day lives. AFTER YOU LISTEN TO THIS EPISODE, please reach out let me know if it helped out. PLEASE SHARE with a friend and please leave the podcast an honest review on the platform of your choice.
This week I was fortunate enough to sit down with Kevin Raftery, Specialist of Truck, SUV, and Outdoor Communications at Nissan. We not only talked about the Honey Brake experience, we talked about Nissan trucks and SUVs, and one my highlights was getting to know Kevin more. Hearing his story of his journey to what he does today sure is fascinating.
You read that title right. We get to sit down with Tim Schreckengost, COO at Phone Skope and hell of a Social Media guru. We get into some tips and tricks that we both use daily. Then in true HPG fashion get to the heart of the matter and crack skulls with some honesty and how you can utilize it daily! So, you know the drill, subscribe - review and SHARE!
Absent a while and making sure I bring you the fire today! Please subscribe and share with someone who can find this podcast valuable. Also, shirts on sale later today!
In this episode, I go over the February Bowhunter Monthly Box - which brought $101 worth of value. Dig into why I really like this month's box. Then we get right into about why I view life as a journey rather than a book. The day the journey ends, is the day you die. Please be sure to subscribe to the podcast, review, and share if you found any part of this valuable for your journey!
I hear all the time about how busy I am by so many people, so I thought I would share what's been on my whiteboard for 90 days "Discipline Vs. Drive". Hear in this week's episode about what and how I stay driven and disciplined. Why you NEED both.
One topic I have been asked about numerous times and I am happy to answer is "What is in a Whitetail Hunter's Pack?" Without a doubt safety first, then shortly after I get to just all the product! Some of my top items: - Compass/Whistle/Thermometer - Orage Vest & Hat - Lights & Fresh Batteries - Toilet paper - Knife Set from Outdoor Edge - Cirrus Wind Indicator
$5 or $10 donations, please make at shedsforsanta.com - Sawyer has a goal of helping 100 families and needs $50,000 to do that. Listen to this podcast and tell me why you wouldn't want to help out any way you can. The hunting community truly is so giving and caring.
This week's guest is the founder of the GoWild App, Brad Luttrell. He and I have similar design and development backgrounds. Started off technology-heavy but circled back up to cover why he started the app in the first place; conservation. If there's one thing I could click with Brad on was we both have extreme passions for what we do. We cover those passions, what it takes in the outdoor industry, and how we keep from throwing in the towel with things get tough. As always thank you for listening and giving this podcast a shot! Please rate, review, & subscribe to the podcast!
In this week's episode, I let you know about my views on high game fence hunting. When I receive messages from other hunters, the morality argument is what is always thrown at me then shortly follows, "That's not hunting". What I think we should be doing is stop all the negativity around hunting and start to celebrate it more. When the negativity divides our already shrinking community, which is due to anti-hunters that's when they win. That's when this priveledge to hunt becomes something we MUST REALLY fight for, not amongst ourselves. If you've ever heard of divide and conquor, that's what they (the anti-hunting community) is doing right now. When we start to elevate each other, we start to unite. All it takes is one person to start, then it becomes a movement. I hope that I can shed some light on high game fence hunting and how we can still be hunters together. Let's rally as hunters and start to congratulate over hate.
I have had the pleasure of having some really awesome guests come on the show. This one truly hits home and nothing is held back. My wife, Mrs. HPG herself, speaks up and out about many things. We touch on what it has been like, the ups, the down, everything! These honest podcasts are so awesome but sharing the mic with my queen has to be one of my favorite episodes. If you have any comments or questions please reach out. Don't forget to subscribe, rate, and review!

This week's guest is founder of LIONS NOT SHEEP, and fellow lion, Sean Whalen. Sean is a guy that isn't going to high-five you when you need a punch in the face. I have felt this first hand by being a part of the Lions Den. Which is a group that Sean is the mastermind behind to help surround yourself with a tribe of badass people. Sean also coaches and consults with entrprenuers and corporations all accross the world. I am honored to have him on this podcast as we discuss time with his family in the outdoors, life in general, and of course politics. This week's episode is a little different but all the same. Keep it real and raw. Justin Wegner, the Host, get's real and give you a walkthrough of what lead him to the podcast seat today. Justin has always strived to make sure everything is honest and of the best quality. The history episode is one for the books and almost didn't happen. One thing he knew was the support of The Guru Nation was strong and behind him 100%. He pushed forward. "I hope that from this you find strength in your own day-to-day. Know that this [day] is another one for your journey. So enjoy it!" - Justin W. Please rate and review!
