Merry Christmas to all our Ikea Episodes family! No, this month's episode is NOT a Christmas special, although the theme is quite a festive one... This time we met at IKEA to talk about: music! And more particularly traditional music, as suggested this month's lovely contributor, our dear friend Towhid. As Towhid said, traditional music is "a bridge between cultures. We don't need to get a visa to travel to their world. We need to close eyes and listen. It's enough." Beautiful, am I right? So tune in to hear about the music that we grew up with and the one that is still the soundtrack to our life! And let us know in the comments if you are familiar with any traditional music :) Sarah & Djamila

This month, we are discussing another challenge we all face in our almost daily life: le regard des autres (pardon our French, it means the gaze of others). We hope that you will enjoy listening to this special "audioblog" format as much as we had fun recording it! We are so excited to hear your stories of stepping out of your comfort zone and owning your cringe: send them over at @theikeaepisodes on Instagram and Facebook or via email at theikeaepisodes@gmail.com.Let us know if you would like to hear more of these light-hearted, spontaneous and slightly chaotic episodes or what topic you would like us to discuss next, and don't forget to tune in every first Sunday of the month for more stories!S & D
Hello and welcome back to The Ikea Episodes! We are Djamila and Sarah (also known as the Ikea Girls!) and we are back this month for another cozy chat in Ikea Copenhagen, where we share anecdotes and life lessons between two laughs. This month's talk is about friendship... as adults. Good friends, bad friends, lost friends and new friends... How to make friends and how to keep them? We discuss it all while sitting in our beloved Swedish canteen. The topic was suggested by our friend and listener Auréline from France, who is the first person featured on the podcast (yay!!). If you also want your theme to be discussed on The Ikea Episodes, send us a text or voice message on Instagram/Facebook @theikeaepisodes or via email at theikeaepisodes@gmail.com. Mind you, we know there is sooo much more to say on this topic, so feel free to join the discussion on our socials and let us know how you have met your most recent friends. And remember to tune in every first Sunday of the month for more stories!Bonne écoute :)
