The Immortals

Four immortals try to remove their curse by reviewing one of the 1001 Movies/Albums/Songs/TV Shows You Must Consume Before You Die every week. Sure this will take 20 years, but who cares when you've been alive for centuries.

Episode #102 -- Days of Heaven / California / Holy Basil / Im Nin'Alu / Takeshi's Castle

Terence Malick makes beautiful films that are known for their peaceful aesthetic and calming atmosphere. So of course we argued about it. The Immortals reviewed the Days of Heaven, Malick's second film, which takes place in Texas. Then they went to California, Israel and Japan. We're so cultured!   Intro 0:00 -- 4:49 Days of Heaven - 4:49 -- 25:42 California - 25:42 -- 32:07 Holy Basil - 32:07 -- 33:21 Im Nin’Alu - 33:21 -- 41:54 Takeshi’s Castle - 41:54 -- 50:17 Outro - 50:17 -- 53:32   --Leave your own henge ratings at TheArtImmortal.com --Be sure you leave an iTunes review so Pedro can give you a compliment on air.    Email Twitter iTunes YouTube   Join us next Thursday as we discuss more random things. Episode #101 -- Grease / The Real Thing / Chives / Voices Carry / Top Gear

OH MY GOD WE'RE BACK AGAIN! After surviving Leigh crashing their space ship, the four Immortals are hiding on [REDACTED] and back to reviewing so many very random pieces of pop culture. And there's no better movie about coming back from break and realizing everything is bonkers and this plot doesn't make any sense than Grease! Also we have a band who is apparently not the Red Hot Chili Peppers, we confirm chives are weird, we know what not to do at the opera in a music video and we talk about a car show but never really talk about cars. Get excited!   Intro 0:00 -- 3:49 Grease 3:49 -- 22:30 The Real Thing 22:30 -- 29:00 Chives 29:00 -- 32:27  Voices Carry 32:27 -- 38:07 Top Gear 38:07 -- 59:40 Outro 59:40 -- 1:03:19   --Leave your own henge ratings at TheArtImmortal.com --Be sure you leave an iTunes review so Pedro can give you a compliment on air.    Email Twitter iTunes YouTube   Join us next Thursday as we discuss more random things. In the circus we have Dumbo and in the political circus we have dummies. The Immortals watch the 1942 Disney classic as well as one of Austin's favorite movies, 2009's In the Loop. It's not just because The Doctor swears up a storm in it, but it helps. Note -- Something went wrong with the Chicago audio and we apologize for the lesser quality. J.C., as always, sounds great.
