The objection to the new mass was not an aesthetic objection but a theological objection. The new mass was designed to please the protestants and so it was stripped down to be Lutheran/Calvinist service. The Benedictine XVI desire to have a reform of the reform was not going to work because the modernists did not want it. Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre saw of this clearly. The SSPX is not harmed by Pope Francis's action at all it can only grow. Thanks Pope Francis!
Jesus Christ has two wills, on human and one Divine. There is a heresy called Monotheletism that has been condemned by the Church that states that Jesus had only one will.
