Let’s talk about why you keep looking for your met needs in someone or something else…Here is some nuance on the difference between being defensive and giving clarification: Defending is often a reaction rooted in fear. Clarifying is a response rooted in presence. Defending says: “You’re wrong about me — and I must protect myself.” Clarifying says: “Let me share what I meant, so we can truly understand one another.” One contracts, the other expands. One builds walls, the other builds bridges. ✨ So the spiritual practice becomes: noticing when you are tempted to defend, pausing, and asking — “Can I transmute this into clarifying instead? From a somatic healing perspective, we'll go over practical tips so you can become more intuitive. 1. Drop into the Body Before Making a Decision Before saying “yes” or “no” to something — pause. Close your eyes. Breathe into your belly. Ask: “How does this feel in my body?” 2. Track Patterns in the Nervous System Your intuition is always online, but stress and dysregulation can mute its signal. 3. Let the Body Speak Through Movement Let your body express what your mind can’t yet translate. Dance without choreography. Stretch intuitively. Notice: where does your body want to move? What is it trying to release, or draw in? ✨ Somatic Tip: Put one hand on your heart, one on your lower belly. Ask a question and track what sensations arise. Intuition lives in the subtle shifts.
