In this episode, we had the privilege of hosting a well known San Diego local Barber Shop owner, Stevie Ortega. Not only known as a barber, Stevie is a man with many gifts such as throwing it down on the turn tables and using his creative eye for unique fashion and style. We talked about the importance of having a team and how he plans on growing together by either expanding his business and how important the creative side of the business is to him and his brand. We were also accompanied by one of his major contributors, Maya as she came in firing away with that energy in the podcast !
When we filmed Ep. #008 a year ago with Jose, we made a promise to run this episode back a year later to see how far we've come. A prime example of someone who followed her dreams, Amber learned from a young age that she wanted to become a coach that helped women lose body fat, gain muscle & up their energy by creating a healthy lifestyle they love! We discussed the importance of a healthy diet in which she explained the benefits of a plant based diet and how it has helped her personally. While on this journey, we keep meeting new people who are doing an exemplary job at being a voice and bringing everyone together. Our friends at Eastlake HQ are doing just that. We had the pleasure of hosting Vernon Spells, CEO of Eastlake HQ, in which we discussed the importance of working with other people to achieve the same goal as well as the importance of teamwork. Vernon & his team host a series of basketball games throughout the community and will continue to do so for future fundraising opportunities.

We did it! 33 episodes is finally in the books. For everyone who has been following us since the very beginning, we all know how special the number 33 is for us. Our original plan was to celebrate with close friends of the pod and host a number of people in one room but given the circumstances, we took matters into our own hands. We discussed the state of the Inner-G and talked about how we spent our quarantines. We know these are strange times but we truly appreciate everyones support and hope to keep providing some amazing content!
