Had a pretty crazy synchronicity come my way. Thoughts on manifestation, collaboration with the universe, control, and loa.
This week we discuss the different between toxic and productive positivity as well as a trick I have learned to help me become balanced and in communication with my emotions, rather than fighting them.
This week we're discussing all things happiness and I give you some insight into how I approach the world in a way that keeps my joy long-lasting and sustainable. I also offer some alternatives to the idea that we can even "be happy" and that it is something to achieve. This podcast offers musings on our inner psyche and body so hopefully they serve as a source that questions your perspective and opens your mind. Practice happiness and see you next week.
I'm back! I get a little bit rambly in this episode, but I wanted to speak about the importance of forming your own belief system and exploring multiple perspectives. This feels especially relevant during the wake of the Black Lives Matter protests happening internationally right now so I use a lot of this situation in my examples. However, the point of the podcast is to get people to question beliefs they hold in all arenas of life and to begin a long term journey of self-reflection. To me Black Lives Mattering is a fact not a belief, but as we've seen from the opposition some people do not believe in this statement. I think the root of so much of this conflict is an attachment to unquestioned beliefs. The lives of innocent human beings should not have to be up for debate so there is clearly some disconnect. My words about the movement are in no way better or more informed than other people out there and so even in this case you should be seeking other perspectives.  I just wanted to share my insight and hopefully encourage people to be more critical thinkers throughout the rest of their lives.
Welcome back! This week we're talking stress. I have been feeling very overwhelmed lately and I know I'm not alone in that. Stress and overwhelm are  major barriers to accomplishing our goals, but do we actually kind of crave it...? Too many people are in fight or flight too often and this amount of stress can be addictive when exposed so often. Just like adrenaline junkies America has turned into a nation of cortisol junkies due to its over prioritization of work. So how can we deal with our stress and overwhelm and ween ourselves off this hormone? I discuss all the methods I've found in this weeks episode and share my own experiences. If you take away anything remember that right now you are always alright. x
Welcome back to the inner renaissance! This week we're talking astrology and how it has changed my life for the better. Reading my birthchart for the first time was a transformative experience for me that shifted my perspective which shifted everything. Now I operate from a place of love and forgiving instead of shame and guilt. I also want to put this out there and maybe change people's perspective on astrology itself. Because whether or not you believe it is real I can tell you it really does help people. If anything astrology is another useful tool for all of us on this self growth journey that shouldn't be pushed aside.
Hello and happy Valentine's Day! This week we're talking relationships. Well I guess actually the opposite since I've never been in one. Yep I've been single for all 23 years of my life so far. Turns out I'm really grateful for it, but that's not to say it hasn't come with its drawbacks. Whether you've never been in a relationship or are a serial monogamist there's something for you in this episode. And I hope you get to give yourself the love and time you deserve this holiday season xx
Can We All Really Do What We Love? And Does It Matter If We Do What We Love? Cause we're certainly told a lot by the internet to just pursue our passions. But is it possible, viable, and do either of those answers actually matter in my personal decisions? I answer in the way I approach this question and while I am not sure if there is any absolute answer to this I do think there are some things we can objectively look at in our own lives to make the best of them.
This week we're talking talent. Does it matter? What is it? Inspired by the book "Grit" I wanted to share the key take away's and lessons I learned about the power of talent vs hard work in the book and also in my personal life. Good news for you, no matter what talents you may have, or not, success is available!
This week we're talking Psycho-Cybernetics a part of our ancient brain that holds us back from making changes in our life; but it's just doing it's job to keep us alive! So What is it? How do we change it? How did it get its code for survival? And Why is it fundamental for you to know about this?
This week we're discussing all things decisions...and there's a lot to cover. In my own personal experience I have been a quitter and never had much staying power, but over time I have come to a revelation that has allowed me to flip those patterns upside down and it all starts with decisions. Explore this topic with me and the ways we can make better decisions to create our life.
This week we're talking all about habits. A fundamental part of creating the lives we want and also a buzzword in pop culture; unfortunately surrounded by a lot of overwhelming bullshit. I am breaking it down here to help you find the habits that will work for you and relieve some of the pressure you might feel from "successful" people telling you what you need to do. I'll tell you about my four most valuable habits, but more importantly why they may not be the habits for you and how to find the ones that are.
