The Inner Shift Podcast - an exploration in authentic living

My intention with this podcast is to support you in your inner shift, to make you feel a little less lonely on that journey and to give you encouragement and tools to do the inner work. Not just for yourself but for all of us. Because you are important, you are needed, I want to help you peel of the layers to your own inner truth, so that you can be the puzzle piece in the whole that you are here to be. And of course all that applies to myself as well, I'm on the journey with you, we're doing it together.

3. How can you love your ego?

Is the ego good or bad? Is the goal here to erase the ego? I'm talking about my resent experience with an ego flare-up and how I think we need to relate to it for it not to take over our lives. Nothing really leaves until you love it someone said and I believe that's true. The ego is just trying to protect us but it's overly reactive, fearful and controlling (much like the mind) so we need to be aware of the space it takes in our lives. Can we love our ego enough for it to choose to calm down on its own?
