Jonathan Cochran

I appreciate the emphasis on serving God's Kingdom whole heartedly. I agree, we have one Lord and that is Jesus. However, I highly disagree with their stance on should a Christian be in the military. Romans 13 clearly states that God has established governing authorities to deal out judgment and righteousness. To say that the US government is run by satan or the military is a satanic thing to join us wrong. I find it hypocritical to say, "I appreciate the military and I am glad that our nation has one." okay, so non Chrisitians can fight and die for you, but you won't do the same? also, Paul says no matter what we do to do it for the kingdom of God. Not everyone is called to be in full time ministry. Finally, killing in combat is not a sin. murder is a sin and there is a huge difference. I am not trying to freak out here, but it angers me when people want to say that soldiers, cops, or anyone willing to kill and die for another is not serving Gods kingdom if they live their life for C

I have a hard time with people that say they have to die daily. Jesus died once for all, and that either was enough or it wasn't. I think that our minds need to be renewed daily, but if you are in Christ you are a new creation. We have already been given everything we need for life in Christ! I also find it interesting how this message is about racism and the one guy kept referring to himself as African American. Why does it matter what color a person is when the Gispel is for all humanity? We are all different regardless of skin color.
