The Internet has changed the world in the last two decades. Just as the Internet and technology have changed our day to day lives, the Internet of Things has revolutionized art. From the creative minds of the individual artists, through the process of the work, to displaying that art form. Computer science is a form of art and artistic ideas come to life in a scientific and physical world at the Ideate conference. The Ideate Conference brings together AAU students, industry leaders, and Alumni for a day of education, networking and celebration. Our goal is to showcase our amazing students to industry from top companies (such as Google, PayPal, and Eventbrite). This semester’s theme is “Career Hacks”. Students will learn how to be a successful freelancer, what to expect from a first job, and tips for being successful in your careers.
