The guys also get into a couple other NBA topics during this segment. Next up the show discusses the best and worst moments of the NFL's wild-card games over this past weekend. A preview of the NFL's divisional round also occurs in this segment. As always there is a betting/fantasy football segment towards the end of the episode. Episode thirty-two concludes with the much anticipated rematch of Jesse vs Norm in sports trivia.

With the NFL's wild card weekend happening this weekend the show previews and gives their picks for each game. The guys also quickly discuss the departure of Zdeno Chara from the Bruins. This week's episode starts off by the guys discussing the poor display of NFL football they saw on Thanksgiving. Staying on the subject of the NFL the Patriots defeat by the Texans and the Pats upcoming matchup with Arizona is also talked about. The show also gets into their weekly around the NFL talk. The guys give their takes on the moves the Celtics made over the past week and moves made around the NBA. It wouldn't be a JDA Show episode without the weekly betting/fantasy football segment. Andy is back from vacation and the boys kick off this weeks discussion by going over the Patriots Monday night win against the Jets and go over their playoff chances moving forward. A heated debate ensues about how good the Bills and Josh Allen actually are and whether or not Bills mafia will take over the AFC east. They talk a little NBA draft/free agents around the league, they touch on the Sox hiring of Alex Cora and at the end of the show we have special guest caller and friend of the show Norm Olden call in to square off against Jesse in Stump the Molin. Episode 23 starts off with some Patriots talk as the guys contemplate whether or not the Patriots are done for. They also preview the Pats upcoming week 8 matchup with Buffalo. As usual the show goes around the NFL giving their best and worst moments of the previous NFL week. The guys get into some NBA topics in the following segment. Next, the show gets into a weekly betting segment. Episode 23 finishes up with some sports trivia as RJ and Jesse go head-to-head.
