THE JEREMIAH SHOW Featuring Shelita   "You want to do the hardest thing first."   Shelita is an international pop artist whose journey blends resilience, reinvention, and music that elevates our collective consciousness. She has been featured in NPR, Forbes, and Rolling Stone.  Her songs have reached millions of streams worldwide, she’s charted on Billboard, and her music has connected with audiences from all over the world. Her EP Special reached #10 on Billboard and #3 on iTunes, and her single "Penetrate" climbed to #14 on Billboard's Next Big Sound chart. Shelita won a prestigious Hollywood Music In Media Award, appearing alongside industry legends like Quincy Jones and Dianne Warren. She has been named an "Artist to Watch" by NPR Music and was featured as a spotlight artist at SXSW.  She has performed over 150 shows across Europe, Asia, and Africa, making her a true "musical citizen of the world.” Shelita’s path was profoundly altered by a skydiving accident in Seychelles that left her facing years of recovery, isolation, and multiple surgeries. In the depths of uncertainty, she turned to two lifelines: freediving and music.  The ocean gave her freedom, and music reminded her that vibration heals. Out of this union came not only recovery but an entirely new chapter in her artistry, one rooted in resilience, transformation, and depth. Shelita’s story is not only one of survival. It is a living example of how art and the human spirit can rise, reinvent, and inspire.   Now, Shelita returns with her most powerful body of work yet, Into the Depths, arriving in early next year.    CONNECT   Website: https://iLoveShelita.com   YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@Shelita   Instagram: https://instagram.com/iLoveShelita   X (Twitter) https://x.com/iLoveShelita   Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/shelitaburke   Facebook Page: https://facebook.com/iLoveShelita   Contact: hello@iLoveShelita.com   Chapters 00:00 The Beauty of Sunrises and Life's Moments 04:03 Shalita: A Journey of Resilience and Transformation 11:15 From Software Engineer to Musician: A Unique Path 18:21 The Power of Music and Collaboration 29:00 Overcoming Fears and Embracing Challenges 36:41 The Healing Power of Music and Frequencies 49:15 Into the Depths: A Transformational Album   - - -   THE JEREMIAH SHOW Voices Carry - These Are Your Stories    POP CULTURE, MUSIC ICONS, & FOOD GODS  The Jeremiah Show - Please Subscribe & Rate - CLICK HERE   Check Out The Back Catalogs of Special Guests - CLICK HERE To Become a Sponsor of The Jeremiah Show CLICK HERE for Media Deck and Rates THE JEREMIAH SHOW BROUGHT TO YOU BY evolve entertainment network - www.thejeremiahshow.com   Host | Executive Producer - Jeremiah D. This show is dedicated in loving memory to Brian Wilson  June 20, 1942 – June 11, 2025 THE JEREMIAH SHOW Featuring David Leaf, Author of SMiLE - The Rise, Fall & Resurrection of Brian Wilson David Leaf is an award-winning writer, director, and producer.  He is also a professor at the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music in Los Angeles, where, since 2010, he has been teaching courses in rock documentary, songwriting, and the Beatles. He published the seminal work The Beach Boys and the California Myth in 1978, which was recently updated and reissued as God Only Knows: The Story of Brian Wilson, the Beach Boys and the California Myth.  Through the writing of the biography, David developed a deep friendship with Brian Wilson. Smile - The Rise, Fall & Resurrection of Brian Wilson is the story of Brian Wilson's legendary SMiLE album. The story of SMiLE is a story unlike any other, perfect for music that was - and still is revolutionary. This is the first book to tell the full story of Brian Wilson and SMiLE, including the details of the original SMiLE recording sessions, their increasingly legendary status, and the final release of the album, as well as the accompanying concerts, film, and its afterlife. With over two dozen new interviews and generous excerpts from his extensive 2004 interviews with Brian Wilson, this book recounts the story of SMiLE through the perspectives of those who were present in 1966 and those involved in its 2004 revival, including all members of Brian Wilson’s band.  This book, featuring a foreword by Melinda Wilson and an anthology of essays from SMiLE historians, devotees, and music professors, is the definitive resource on the subject. "The man is my hero. I love him. I weep when I hear his band. I hear him sing. I love him." —Sir Paul McCartney “If I had to select one living genius of popular music, I would choose Brian Wilson.” - Sir George Martin "The only real pop genius in the world..." —Sir Elton John Pick up a copy of Smile - The Rise, Fall & Resurrection of Brian Wilson On Amazon  https://www.leafprod.com/ - - - THE JEREMIAH SHOW Voices Carry - These Are Your Stories  POP CULTURE, MUSIC ICONS, & FOOD GODS  The Jeremiah Show - Please Subscribe & Rate - CLICK HERE Check Out The Back Catalogs of Special Guests - CLICK HERE To Become a Sponsor of The Jeremiah Show CLICK HERE for Media Deck and Rates THE JEREMIAH SHOW BROUGHT TO YOU BY evolve entertainment network - www.thejeremiahshow.com Host | Executive Producer - Jeremiah D. Just an Opinion...

This is one of the most irritating shows I've ever heard. The first 20 minutes is irritating and inane banter. That might appeal to millineal dunder heads but it won't last with adults. Pass this one by.
