Is the 1st Amendment on the Ballot?   Many think freedom of speech in America is in jeopardy.  The mainstream media is omitting facts, college campuses are de-platforming speakers, and politicians like Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and Hillary Clinton are calling for social media platforms to police their users. Proponents argue that controlling misinformation is necessary to prevent societal unrest and protect vulnerable communities. On the other hand, voices like Tulsi Gabbard and Elon Musk warn that suppressing free speech leads to the erosion of democracy itself, paving the way for authoritarianism.Joining me today is Dave Rubin, one of the original political YouTubers and the creator of The Rubin Report, with millions of views each week. As a fierce defender of free speech, Rubin is an extremely vocal opponent of growing calls for censorship, both in the U.S. and abroad. He offers real-life examples of how this trend is silencing voices and marginalizing opinions, and he passionately advocates for the protection of our fundamental rights. If you're curious about both points of view or concerned about censorship, cancel culture, or losing your voice, this conversation is a must-watch. Join us as we dig into this crucial issue and explore what can be done to combat this growing threat. Join Jillian as she explores the surprising reasons behind Ana Kasparian's move away from the left.Ana Kasparian, co-founder of The Young Turks, one of the most popular left-leaning news organizations, recently departed from the left, sending shockwaves through the political landscape and raising questions about her decision. In this episode, Ana shares her growing disillusionment with the increasing radicalism and intolerance within extreme left factions. She also addresses deep concerns about identity politics, corporate funding of political parties, the decline of California, and the embracing of endorsements from figures like Dick Cheney.Ana's commitment to intellectual honesty and her desire for constructive dialogue ultimately pushed her away from the community she once embraced. Exposure to alternative perspectives through media appearances broadened her understanding of the political spectrum, making it difficult for her to align with any ideology.Later in the episode, Ana reveals her "final straw": the public backlash and attacks she faced from her own party for expressing nuanced views on a highly polarizing issue. Ana's departure has significant implications for the future of progressive politics. Without her voice, the left risks becoming more radicalized and isolated. However, Ana's decision could also open the door for a more moderate, inclusive, and intellectually honest political approach that values debate and free thought over dogma. What do you think of Ana Kasparian's decision to leave the left? “Anti-Science”. “Misinformation”. These words get tossed around non stop these days. Especially when it comes to health. So, how do you know what’s true and what isn’t? Jillian tells the story of recent senate testimony at the nation's capital with a group of MD’s, PhD’s, and health advocates and activists. The event was non-partisan. The focus was rooting out corruption in healthcare and removing the 10,000 chemicals in our food and water that are banned in Europe and Canada and the rest of the developed world. Not a moment passed before the event came under fire as “MAGA” and “anti-science”. Who is behind this? Are they right? How do you question the motivations of those giving you advice? And most importantly, what is actually at stake? This one matters. Make sure to give it a listen. See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

I love this podcast so much, but I really don't like the phone call questions! Much prefer it when y'all take questions from email/Twitter, without calling the actual question asker

I really, really missed Jillian's show. She has helped inspire and motivate me so much through everything that she does. Her radio show got me through the beginning of my weight loss, through the rough patches and all the way to the end. Now that I'm working to maintain it, I couldn't be happier to have her back. If you've never heard her show before, you are missing out. Please do yourself a big favor and check it out! She is awesome!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVED the KFI radio show in the past: chock full of great advice, daily slices of motivation, a must-have podcast for anyone with fitness goals. Jillian is charismatic, well-spoken, and above all else blunt. She puts things into perspective. And the best part of all, it's a podcast for everyone: losing weight, getting fit, gaining weight. (And I LOVE Janice, so happy she's got a bigger role this time around!
