Let's say you are taking a vacation to the border of Texas and Mexico. You stop by a family-owned restaurant, and you and your grandma order the Chile Rellenos, which is the Thursday Special: $7.99. Your grandma cuts open the first poblano pepper, dips it into some salsa verde and sets that beautiful fried-pepper-cheese-salsa filled bite into her mouth. As she chews, a smile washes over here face, and a barely audible, "Yummy" emits from her munching mouth. Your turn. You take your plastic fork, stab at the next bite, dunk it into the dish full of salsa verde, and bite down. The first sensation is a little sweet, you can feel the cheese on your tongue, and then the salsa begins to work itself into your taste buds. All of a sudden . . . . . . Your head explodes. You're dead. Let us ask you something listeners: wouldn't it be great if you could teach yourself to like spicy food? If you and grandma could share some good old Tex-Mex memories together? If you weren't such a wimp when it comes to hot sauce? It wouldn't? You don't care about spicy food? You don't like to "sweat while you eat?" Well, you suck. With the Summer Interns off to radio and broadcasting elementary college, Judson and Michael are slowing it down. They are back, back with a mega-podcast about two teams from up north: the Detroit Lions and the Minnesota Vikings. Before Judson and Michael talk about Mike Wallace and Matthew Stafford, they have to give 5 good minutes on ya BOI Donald Trump, 10 okay minutes on Donuts, 15 good minutes on Flax Seed with their friend and co-worker Jo-Bo. But finally, they get to two of the most interesting teams in the NFC North: the Lions and Vikings. What is going on with that Vikings stadium? Tighten 'em up Football Fans, we have to talk about those Boys and Iggles. That's right, two NFC East POWERHOUSES are featured on the Jockstrap Podcast this week. It's July, it's the offseason, and so Jerry Jones is up to colluding with the Broncos, Chip Kelly is working at Smoothie King, and the Jockstrap Podcast is getting it's 6 Wisdom Teeth taken out. It takes Judson and Michael about 30 minutes to talk about football, but they eventually get there. Enjoy the awards, bright sides, bad audio, and DeAndre Jordan talk.

Look, we love the Buffalo Bills here at #JockstrapHeadquarters. But, we will be honest, as the 2014 champion Jockstrap team of the year, the Buffalo Bills didn't live up to Judson's perfect season and Super Bowl ring expectations. Maybe it's time the podcast reconsider it's favorite team . . . Or . . . maybe not. With changes from the top to bottom (Hello Rexy Sexy Ryan! Bye Kiko!) Michael and Judson are open to continuing there mutually beneficial relationship with the Buffalo Bills. Whether they decide to do so or not, well you will just have to listen to FIND OUT. As always, the boys hand out Offseason Awards and look on the Bright Side of life.

Why so many highlights Sportscenter? We want to see errors and turnovers and interceptions! Michael has an issue, and it needs a fixin'. In this FIX IT Offseason Exclusive, Judson and Michael outline the darker side of sports, the screw ups and bloopers, and ask, "Why there isn't a repository full of bad defensive plays from JR Smith." Sound confusing? Are you interested? If not, shut up. You should be!

We love Ray Finkle, we love Bad Boys II, we love Pitbull, and we love the Miami Dolphins. To commemorate an active offseason that included saying bye-bye to Mike Wallace, and hello to Ndamukong Suh, Ryan Tannehill, and Greg Jennings, the Jockstrap Podcast has some awards to hand out to the non-collegiate football team in Miami! Screw the U! Also, with so much negativity in the sporting world (hello SEPPY BLADDER) Judson and Michael of course need to look on the Bright Side of life for all the professional football fans down in Miami. Late Wednesday evening, Judson was stuck mowing crooked lines with a 19inch push mower at his suburban home in the Hamptons. This did not make Judson happy. "Why is mowing the lawn still a thing?" he wondered. "Isn't there a better way to go about grooming one's lawn for the "2015 Best Yard in Checkered Lake Estates Competition?'" Turns out, there is! In this FIX IT only 'sode, Judson and Michael outline all of the problems with mowing the lawn, and then get to work fixing every single one of them. If you enjoy the smell of fresh cut grass and bro tank talk, you will LOVE this podcast.

We like hope here on the Jockstrap Podcast, and this Raiders team should name their next mascot that exact word: hope. Or Blackbeard, Captain Hook, Peg-leg: all work just fine. In this week's episode of the Jockstrap Podcast, Judson and Michael get excited about the Raiders 2015 Season. With a draft class that nearly every pundit and talking head thought was good-if-not-great, and a new coach with a history of good defenses (watch out for the MACK-ATTACK Peyton Manning!) these Raiders just may win more than 5 games this year.

A lot of things need to be fixed in the world: like Judson's microphone, Michael's stuttering, and our ability to put up an episode in a timely fashion. You know what else needs to be fixed? SMART PHONE CASES. and JUDSON'S KICKBALL LEAGUE. On this week's FIX IT, Michael and Judson talk smart phones and 4th grade sports. Why aren't smart phone cases bundled with the smart phone that you buy? Why is Judson's weekly Kickball field such an abomination to the sacred sport? After a month hiatus with a million scheduling conflicts, Austin is back to finish what him and Michael started: the Jockstrap Podcast's Baseball Preview. Only problem: We are already over a month in to the season. So, Michael and Austin instead give a recap of the AL and NL East, take stock of the divisional races, and look ahead to the rest of the year for the likes of the Yankees, the Red Sox, and the Mets. In this week's Offseason Small Cup, your co-host Michael sits down with Mikey Ward to talk about the Chicago Bears Offseason, upcoming draft, and the biggest album to hit hip-hop in a long time. First, Michael and Mikey talk about Chicago's Bears. The Monsters of the Midway did not have a good 2014 season, and 2015 looked bleak until John Fox showed up and Brandon Marshall departed. Mikey gives his opinions on the moves that Ryan Pace has made so far, including the hiring of John Fox and all those 1 year contracts that he added to the Bears' defense. After that, Michael and Mikey talk about Kendrick Lamar's most recent album, "To Pimp A Butterfly." Not quite an album review, not quite a Freshman English Seminar, questions emerge on analyzing the album with and without committing intentional fallacy, the overwhelming allusions throughout the 79 minutes of music, and what to make of the authority figures referenced by Kendrick Lamar.

In this week's Sunday Edition of the Jockstrap's Offseason Small Cup, SPECIAL GUEST Corey McNeil stops by to talk with Michael about the NFL Draft and update listeners on the world of College Football. Obviously then, the boys start the podcast talking about One Direction. Then, right into a hot discussion of the Notre Dame . . . basketball squad. But they do eventually talk about football, specifically who did well in college recruiting this year, what is the better orange: Clemson Orange or Tennessee Orange? And, they of course discuss the NFL Draft. They specifically "analyze" three positions: Inside Linebacker, Guard, and Running Back. It's Tennessee Titans week here at the Jockstrap! On this week's Offseason Small Cup, we welcome on Jimmy Morris of Music City Miracles to talk about the Titans 2015 Offseason. Michael asks Jimmy for his thoughts on Tommy Smith's retirement, and asks Jimmy for his thoughts on who the Titans have added so far in Free Agency. The soccer expert is back!!!! Max Egert, the Jockstrap's Gambling Blogger and Chief Chelsea fan, makes his podcast return on this week's episode of the Jockstrap Podcast. Michael and Max walk through the current state of the Premier League. And by that, we mean that they talk about the Top 7. They walk through the recent success of Chelsea, honing in on John Terry's inevitable contract extension through 2024.
