This message has & will echo throughout time: Let the people have whatsoever they want e.g., sex, drugs & rock n' roll. Perceiving time backwards: 1) Making the same mistake 2) Not learning 3) External influence 4) The myth of Sisyphus "Thus there are many prospects for which the childlike can seem to be a satisfactory remedy." (C.G. Jung The Red Book A Reader's Edition pg. 573) •Children will mostly learn whatsoever ye teach. "Woodstock" Crosby, Stills & Nash Conclusion: I'm just an ol' fuddyduddy

On old and new tablets 15 Such maxims I heard pious afterworldly people speak to their conscience---verily, without treachery or falseness, although there is nothing falser in the whole world, nothing more treacherous: "Let the world go its way! Do not raise one finger against it!" "Let him who wants to, strangle and stab and fleece and flay the people. Do not raise one finger against it! Thus will they learn to renounce the world." "And your own reason---you yourself should stifle and strangle it; for it is a reason of this world; thus will you yourself learn to renounce the world." Break, break, O my brothers, these old tablets of the pious. Break the maxims of those who slander the world. (Thus Spake Zarathustra p.205 by Friedrich Nietzsche)

Petersen's rule of unintended consequences should be considered when talking about paying farmers to not produce food. in practice I bet that would be paying big business to pound sand, sounds like it could be some serious socialism for the rich. you'd have to spend a whole lot on convincing me that's a good idea.
