In this episode, we welcome back Kassandra Baker as we dive deep into the dangers of idolizing thinness within Christian communities. Kassandra shares her journey through eating disorders, depression, and the eventual freedom she found by letting go of the cultural obsession with thinness. In this episode, we will:  
-Identify when thinness becomes an idol 
-Replace ideals with God's kind reality 
-Give practical steps when you struggle with the need to be thin  
Our anchor verse for this episode is Daniel 3:17-18: "If this be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king. But if not, be it known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.”

In today's episode I share my journey with diastasis recti, which is the separation of the abdominal muscles that usually occurs during pregnancy. For the 30-40% of women who still experience this separation with a belly that pokes out 6 months postpartum, this episode is for you. I hope this helps spread awareness of diastasis recti, gives you hope that it can get better (one way or another) and take away body shame. Enjoy!
