The boys show continues, but this week Matt and Kenny talk about some bikes, answer a good listener question, and talk about how easy-to-use installment plans are akin to the new rent to own model of the past.
This is the beginning of the annual boys night series when Andrea is out hunting. This leaves Matt and Kenny to their own devices, for better or worse. This week you get to hear about trim, how to drink whiskey and Coke hands free, and some general philosophisation. Sorry, no tips on how to drive your car this week.
Hey there loyal listener... just wanted to let you all know that the rest of September's Episodes are up to Matt to record, edit, and post. They may be on different days. They may be missing. They may sound different. It's your yearly September adventure while I (Andrea) go out in the wilderness to find the reset button for my brain. And hunt elk. Enjoy!
It's a long one this week. Matt and Kenny get way too in to talking about car tires. Skip ahead if your eyes glaze over, but don't miss out on Matt going full Winnie the Pooh at about 22 minutes in. There's not a lot of new stuff happening, so the crew takes on a multi-part listener question that they skipped last week. Somehow the entire episode is just car tires and questions from one listener. No kidding.
Matt rode a lot of bikes this week, Kenny Moto'd again, and Andrea rode and worked at Leadvelo Bicicasa during the Leadville 100 Mountain Bike Race New shit: New Colors for the Otso Waheela Updated Norco Revolver  Spy shots for new DH stuff Trek releases new Fuels Listener Questions: Is it time to stop calling the LT100 a mountain bike race? I have some suggestions for Kenny's moto
As the title says, this one is heavy on the driving advice from Kenny. Other than that, he tells moto stories. Matt hauled around some bikes, and Andrea is feeling better, outrunning storms (almost), and is heading to Leadville to work before the LT100 MTB race.  New shit: The UCI is dumb Vertical Helium Race is the lightest dropper post, ever LJB Suspension made a bike with at least 500 pivots 32" wheels. Get ready to listen to the anti-29er arguments all over again Listener Stuff: What do you think about driving with flashers on? Anything new about working with individuals with prosthetics?
This episode is mostly Host Nuggets. Hear about Matt's bike rides, Andrea's surgery, and Kenny's moto lay-down. After that, we've got a little new shit and a listener question.
Giardia and surgery and motos, oh my!
Encouraged by whiskey and the wishes of our listeners to hear more unhinged Kenny content, Kenny starts his new series about operating motor vehicles. Matt worked on his jeep, and Andrea's garden and chickens had some small setbacks.
Andrea is back this week with a new scratch on the 4Runner, Matt went river surfing again, and Kenny did his usual moto thing. They then dive in to new shit from Canyon, SRAM, and a listener question about a new e-bike that's actually more of an e-moto. Sort of.  And, for your viewing pleasure, here's the AI-generated show notes that are so vague they could basically be used for any of our episodes... Description: Join us for Episode 199 of the Just Riding Along Show, where we dive into a lively discussion about bikes, adventures, and more. Andrea's taking a mental health break, so Matt and Kenny go at it alone in this one.
This week, Matt and Andrea talk about their e-bike adventure ride, Kenny talks motos and shop stuff, and they discuss the magic of moving from Memphis to The West (a good tie-in to the listener question about the proposed selling of public lands).  New shit from Shimano, KS, Specialized, and more! Listener comments, thanks, and a question that leads Andrea on to her latest conspiracy theory. Wait... is it only a theory if it's true? What do you think?
The crew is getting back into the groove this week. Matt went to Memphis, Kenny recovered from his flu, and Andrea is feeling better... at least physically.
Kenny is out sick this week, so it's just Matt and Andrea in a shorty to give you your weekly JRA fix. What long legged XC bike should Andrea get once she can ride again, and how should she build it? Matt is grouchy as usual. They talk new shit and whatnot.
Sorry this one is a few hours late- I'm having a bad carpal tunnel flare-up in both hands. Note for the future- don't remove/install tires with cushcore if you have carpal tunnel.  Anyways... This week, the crew talks favorite bikes, new shit, and reads about some listeners' old favorites.
Matt had a boring week, Kenny drops knowledge about snake movement, and Andrea went for a birthday adventure. After that, it's on to New Shit and a listener submission about a favorite bike.
This one's what you expect from the crew's usual stuff- chickens, Matt overexplains things, Kenny inherits a munted moto, and Andrea is recovering from the bike shop funk. We've got the old favorites, too- new shit we probably hate and some listener questions and commentary.
About half of this episode is rants from all three hosts. Mostly Kenny, but the other two have thoughts as well. After rants, they fire off some new shit and answer some questions from Patrons.
This week, Matt has Man Flu and coughs a lot, Kenny gets a visit from an Apache Helicopter, and Andrea gets some news about her mom mid-episode. Everything else is the usual JRA...
Host Nuggets: Matt- Went for an e-bike ride and has some strong opinions about mullet bikes. Also, his Land Rover is for sale. Someone buy this thing so Andrea has more room for plants and chickens. Kenny- Went double moto  Andrea- talks more than she has in the last 10 episodes combined. Buckle up and get ready to hear about chickens, plants, and turkey hunting.  New Shit: Arnie Nashbar passed away Revel Bikes closes Updated Kona HeiHei  Leatt pedals and stuff Abbey Tools Shop Crombie and Chain Whip  Praxis Gearbox Prototype Listener Questions: The LAL Katana is cooler than you think
