Description
This is a space where we dignify process. A space where we believe in process
"... that process is okay. Process is normal. Process is golden. Process can be fun."
A space for all sorts of people to know that they are seen, known and heard even though they're not yet prominent, decorated and all the stuff we have come to associate with leadership.
Right where you are. Even if it's just one person. Even if its just you. You are a leader. This is process. You belong here, respected and honoured for what you're doing.

As we come to the end of mental health awarenesss month, we have a splendid conversation with one, Mary Monari. A leader, teacher, friend, bringer of fun and happiness and most importantly a human being. We centre on how, asking for help while dealing with mental health challengesis no sign of weakness, but a greater determination to get better not just for the teams you are in as a leader or the led, but most importantly for YOU.
It has been a beautiful month of conversation and raising awareness on the challenge that is mental health.

The frustration of waiting to start again, the constant overthinking, the constant doubt, the constant fear, the constant thoughts of what people would think. Have you ever had such an instance? I am here to try and make it easier to START AGAIN. It is indeed a scary process, no doubt, but we are hopefully yet because the process, The leader process for that matter requires us to start again and again and again. Would you take sometime to Start Again.
I am sure you have made more than one new year's resolution for 2021, after the kind of year 2020 proved to be. What is the question was thrown to you, what would you have done to make 2020 better as a leader? What would be your response? So before we run into the new resolutions, how about we tackle the old ones? No New YOU
2020 Is finally coming to an end and we have been unpacking a whole lot under the scope of three episodes, as for this year, this is the season finale for The Leader Process podcast and on our 10th episode we just want to reflect on a whole host of things, before we all dive into the festivities. It is indeed beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
In light of our very long previous episode, that was literally packed with so much information, just like they year 2020, we found that we had so many packed instances that make us feel a bit clattered. So we unpacked them into a couple of pointers that, WE(the leader in process) have found worthy of taaking note.
Would you spare a few minutes to listen in?
We are in December amidst all the doubt about how this year would have gone!!! That is reason enough to celebrate and what is a better way than reflecting on how the year has been for us both as individuals and also as The TLP fam! Have you noticed how much pressure there has been to accomplish, achieve and gain new heights amid a global pandemic? Here is my take on what tht looks like not just for me but for us as a team. Listen in won't you?
Last week we had a chance to get to know the members of the team and the various roles these people play in bringing you weekly episodes of the leader process podcast. As stated before, this is not the situation room but more like the anniversary room where we invite you to rock with us, will you?
This past week we had our celebration party for being here for a whole year. A whole year guys!!!!!! Do you remember when I took the chance to ask you to join the team? I was fortunate to find three people to personally volunteer to serve us guys in our podcast. We did a little online party of course observing all requirements under this global pandemic. Leadership is growth and growth is organic. Once things stop growing they start to die. This happens even in our own leadership spaces however big or small we may deem it and that directly affects who we are and what we do. You may ask, how do we keep our teams alive? Listen in to find out.
As a leader we often underestmate ourselves by deaming ourselves unsuitable to lead, I also have underestimated you and your capabilities to lead and be led and that comes with such huge consequence. I am here to try and make that wrong right. Bear with me
This week we take a look at the various theories behind this leadership journey that we are on. You might say I am not a leader but You lead yourself through your own life everyday thus making you, yes, you guessed it a LEADER!!!!

What's up good leader people! How is everyone? It has been a while. I am grateful for space and the encouragement that this small emerging community is working. People were really kind and told me to take care of myself. I am back. Refreshed and excited to serve to be with you.
This week's guest is a colleague of mine in more ways than one. We share a love for leadership and design. We have an extensive history having been in two leadership programs, AIESEC and ALX.
We talk about
How his desire to do something bigger than himself sent him into leadership.
How he built a team and organization in his school from scratch
Why it's important to volunteer, going on exchange.
What a passionate culture does for leadership
This was a really fun episode for us. Going down memory lane like that and reflecting on those good times.
Here are the organizations we talked about
AIESEC
ALX

This week's episode is me writing a letter to you guys about where I am... A practice I have adopted to help me process my experiences. This week we miss the pun and talk about Jacinda Arden the New Zealand Prime Minister. And we breathe. The timing is not strategic because when we need to it's hardly ever strategic. Hoping you feel inspired to be honest with yourself about where you're at. I hope you're honest more often. I hope that if you need to be honest when it's untimely that you're honest nonetheless.
