The Legacy

Ahmed finally finds work after over five years of unemployment due to the constant conflict between the Palestinians and the Israelis. He no sooner starts clearing the site of a new resort, an International Aide project designed to help the Palestinians create an economy, and his tractor uncovers something the site engineer didn't dream she would find.

In the aftermath of the Bar Kochba revolution, the victorious Roman Army is rewarded with permission to to rape and pillage all who crossed their path, punishing the remaining Jews in the land. One family is caught in the vortex of this destruction and flees to save their lives and the lives of their servants.
