In today's short episode of The Leveraged Business Podcast, we explore resilience as the new AI competitive advantage. It's a conversation that's missing in most discussions about artificial intelligence — the human side of business acceleration.  AI is transforming how we work, decide, communicate, and create. But while the tools are getting faster, our nervous systems… are not. This episode reveals the truth about why AI isn't overwhelming us — our lack of internal resilience is. And why the real competitive advantage for modern entrepreneurs is not speed, tools, or automation… but the capacity to stay grounded and clear while everything else speeds up. If you want to grow sustainably in an AI-driven world, this is the episode you do not skip. In this episode, you'll discover: — The unexpected way AI increases emotional and cognitive load, even as it simplifies tasks. — The single pattern that causes even experienced entrepreneurs to become reactive under AI acceleration. — Why AI amplifies your internal state more than your skillset, and how to turn that into your advantage. — The three markers of true resilience in the AI era (and why "pushing harder" is not one of them). — How to recognise when you're accelerating faster than your nervous system can safely sustain. — The leadership shift required to harness AI strategically without burning out.  — What grounded acceleration looks like — and why it outperforms speed every time. — The unexpected reason resilience, not technology, will determine who thrives over the next decade. Grab Jay Allyson's new #1 bestselling book Rising Resilience with Grit, Grace & Growth, available now on Amazon. This powerful collective wisdom inspired by interview with successful entrepreneurs navigating challenges, crisis, and change is the game-changer you didn't know you needed.
In this short episode, Jay celebrates the launch of a special project and her latest book Rising Resilient with Grit, Grace & Growth: A Coaching Handbook Inspired by the Collective Wisdom of Successful Entrepreneurs Navigating Challenge, Crisis & Change.  She explores the intersection between AI acceleration and human resilience — a conversation almost no one is having, but every entrepreneur needs. Because AI is speeding up decision-making, visibility, but also customer expectations and our own cognitive load. But AI itself isn't overwhelming us; our lack of internal grounding is.  Jay shares why the leaders who thrive in an AI-driven world won't be the fastest adopters, but the most emotionally regulated, strategically grounded and internally steady. This is resilience redefined as a competitive advantage — not softness, but structure. If you're trying to build sustainably while everything speeds up around you, this episode offers clarity, steadiness and a very different kind of leadership insight. What You'll Hear: •  The real impact of AI acceleration on the nervous system • Why AI exposes gaps in leadership rather than fixing them • The contrarian truth: AI amplifies whatever state you bring to it • Why emotional regulation is now a strategic business asset • The essential capacities leaders need in an AI-driven world • The link between personal capacity and business growth  • How to create grounded acceleration instead of chaos • Why resilience protects strategy, innovation and clarity It's a forward-looking view of leadership in the next era. AI is no longer optional, it's a strategic necessity. But using AI effectively isn't about chasing the latest tools; it's about aligning technology with purpose, people, and process. In this episode of The Leveraged Business Podcast, Dr. Jay Allyson (Dempster) breaks down a clear roadmap for business owners ready to implement AI with intention and integrity. What you'll learn: 00:00 – Why AI is the new growth engine for every business 04:15 – The four dimensions of AI transformation: Goals, Process, People, Culture 09:30 – Traditional vs Generative AI: The dual engines of growth 15:00 – How to build your AI literacy and implementation plan 21:00 – Measuring ROI: turning intelligence into impact   In this episode, there's a little twist. In this episode of The Leveraged Business Podcast, we continue on our journey into the possibilities and pitfalls of using AI as part of your business growth strategy, and our series theme: Accelerating with AI — exploring practical ways entrepreneurs and business leaders can use AI tools to scale faster. I decided to run an experiment using Google's NotebookLM. By uploading the preface and introduction of my book, The AI Business Accelerator, I asked the AI to generate a podcast-style conversation. The result? A 17-minute dialogue that introduces the core ideas of AI in business growth, created entirely by AI voices. It's not my voice, and it's not polished. But that's deliberate. You'll hear exactly what the tool produced, giving you a real example of how AI can repurpose existing content into new formats like podcasts, audio, video, or blog posts. In future episodes, I'll take the same material into tools like Descript to regenerate the dialogue in my own voice, polish the structure, and show how to multiply one piece of content into many outputs. If you're curious about AI for entrepreneurs, content repurposing, podcasting with AI, or practical business acceleration strategies, this episode is a must-listen. 🎧 Tune in to discover what's possible when we accelerate with AI. If AI can do more and more—how do you stay in command of your voice, your content, and your values? In Part 2 of my conversation with Joe Lépine, we shift from mindset and ethics to trust and real-world application. We dive into the how of working with AI as a creative partner, sharing tools, workflows, and real examples of using AI in content creation, programme design, and daily business tasks. We also explore one of the most important (and overlooked) aspects of AI resilience: how to preserve your unique voice, brand, and integrity in the process.  From training your own AI on past work to borrowing inspiration from others without losing your originality, this is a practical and thought-provoking look at human-AI collaboration done right.  Topics covered: How Joe uses AI to script, test, and enhance his content Creative prompting and voice-driven refinement  Priming AI with your brand style and past work  Borrowing from others vs. training your own clone Trust-building through personalised, human connection Why human editors, coaches, and collaborators still matter The one mindset shift every business owner needs now. Whether you're just getting started or ready to go deeper, this episode will help you work smarter, with clarity, creativity, and control. AI Resilient international bestseller book by Joachim Lépine is available on Amazon. What does it really mean to be resilient in the age of AI? In Part 1 of this two-part conversation, Jay is joined by author and educator Joachim "Joe" Lépine to explore how AI is disrupting service-based businesses, and how trust, critical thinking, and a human-first approach are becoming essential to staying relevant. Listen in as we unpack the mindset shifts that AI demands, how to use these tools ethically, and why resilience isn't just about adapting to tech, it's about re-humanising your work. From the risks of outsourcing your voice to the subtle biases in AI-generated content, this is a thoughtful look at what's changing, and how to navigate it with integrity. Topics covered: * The origin story behind Joe's book AI Resilient * Why AI is a wake-up call for entrepreneurs * The three Rs: Research, Rounding Out, Refining * Trust as the core differentiator in an AI-driven world * Ethics, privacy, and hidden bias in AI tools * Joe's rule: "Joe GPT before ChatGPT" Show notes at https://jayallyson.com/podcast/trust-building-ai-practices/ then dive into part 2 where we continue the conversation with real-world applications, creative workflows, and practical tools.
