Charlie AKA Old Gray Mule is in my opinion one of the last connections we'll end up having to the original Mississippi Hill Stomp blues along with other hard to play styles of blues. He's a regular in Australia and also a regular at our house where we usually tell stories till the cows come home or run out liquor. Either way he dropped in and we recorded this and he was nice enough to play a couple songs and break a couple strings. 

Deret Roberts is one of the coolest dudes with one of the coolest art gallery/live music venue/antique shops that I've ever seen called Art Obscura (3206 Harrelson St.  Las Cruces, NM) This is one of those places that has a heart beat of its own. They have live music almost every week along with an art show with new artist(s) every second Saturday. This Saturday August 13 Art Obscura presents Juxtapose, an art exhibit by Diane Alire.
