"There was one point when I realised I was giving too much. It dawned on me that I needed to take care of myself FIRST" I think so many of us can relate to this quote from Paulina, from this episode on her selfcare journey and how it changed after becoming a mother. Listen to her story and learn about the tips that might help you too if you're feeling like this resonates with you. Follow me on IG https://www.instagram.com/essentiallylorena/
Ladies, this is the podcast you want to listen to together with your significant other! I invited the guy I live with, AKA my man, and bombarded him with questions about what's it like to be with someone like me. The change in lifestyle, the ups and downs of entrepreneurship, everything. I hope this will be enlightening! https://www.instagram.com/sweetandoil/ www.sweetandoil.com
So many of us start a business and put ourselves our there, and other people (from their comfort zone) think they have a right to judge us on the 10% that they see. Recently I was told I am "too confident" and that I make others feel inferior (the comment came from other women). It is time we tear down this need to step on one another's toes to make ourselves taller. We rise by lifting each other.
Grace Grossmann and I speak about this as we get into the topics of anxiety, depression and how this is all linked to self love and selfcare. In this raw and vulnerable episode, which I am SO GRATEFUL to Grace for, she talks about how she finally put herself first after she started having suicidal thoughts. If you're a female entrepreneur, and you're in the business of helping other people become better versions of themselves, this episode is a MUST. Women entrepreneurs tend to be harder on ourselves when we don't achieve everything. We are NOT superwomen, that's an impossible goal! Selfcare and self love is a journey, not a destination. Roxana and I speak about what this can look like for us female entrepreneurs in this episode https://www.roxanaiyengar.de
