In this episode a very enlightening conversation with Maria Wheatley about dowsing, earth energies and her new book - The Secret Mystery of Stonehenge. Maria is a second-generation dowser who is a leading authority on the geodetic system of earth energies. She was taught how to decode and divine the land by her late father, Dennis Wheatley, who was considered to be one of the UKs top Master Dowsers. Maria is an accomplished author of books on sacred sites and dowsing. She has researched the esoteric design canons of prehistoric sites, Druidic ceremonial enclosures and the Knights Templar for many years. Maria has studied Neolithic Britain and Bronze Age prehistory with the University of Bath and alongside other professionals, Maria combines her knowledge of archaeology, and earth energies with state of the art equipment to locate and detect the hidden frequencies that the Earth emits. Believing in the Earth Force or dowsing is simply not enough for Maria, she wants to show the world that the prehistoric designers of ancient sites could locate and harness earth energy. Alienora Browning is a wonderful writer with a super sense of humor - watch, listen and laugh along with us... I have known her for several years via a group of magical friends though we had never met until the day we recorded this and even then - over Zoom. Please - go sample one of her books - available on Amazon sites. Warning - there is a little more swearing than usual in this interview. Alienora Browning was born on 9th January 1958. She moved to Headington, Oxford, at the age of four - and was educated in Oxford until the age of eighteen. The oldest of five children, she wrote for pleasure from a very early age, and was an avid reader too. She plays several musical instruments (violin, spinet, piano and recorders) and has sung in various choirs. After getting a degree in English Literature, at Aberystwyth University, and doing a year's teacher training course, she taught English and Drama, at Worle Community School, in Weston-super-Mare, for thirty years. A lifelong interest in matters mystical and occult led to an association first with Paddy Slade's loose-knit ritual circle in a village near Bath, followed by several years attending Gatherings of the Light - with Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki's SOL group - in Savio House, Bolington, Cheshire, and, more recently, seven years attending ritual weekends, with The Silent Eye, near Buxton. She is now a member of Andy Cooper's Glastonbury-based Lodge Anubis - and has worked extensively with both the Western Mystery Tradition and the Ancient Egyptian one. Since taking early retirement, back in 2012, Alienora has fulfilled her life-long dream of becoming a full-time writer - and, to date, has written/published ten books. They cover a wide range of genres and subjects, from mystical to humorous, poetic to erotic, travel-related to literary. Two of them have won prizes : a first prize for 'Under Cader Idris'; third prize for 'Riding at the Gates of Sixty'. All ten have received excellent reviews on Amazon. Divorced and with a son in his twenties, Alienora has been based in Glastonbury since 2016. In this episode I catch up with Anthony Peake to find out where his research into life after death has got to. We talk about his ideas and theories, about science and reality and much more. Anthony's ideas are fascinating and still very much evolving as he discovers new evidence from all angles about what happens when we die.It was in the year 2000 that Anthony's life was to change. A fortuitous set of circumstances allowed him to take a year sabbatical from his business career and he decided that he would focus the fruits of all his reading and research in writing a book. Exactly one year later he surfaced with the manuscript of his first book, then entitled Cheating the Ferryman. This book was a distillation of all his areas of interest, quantum physics, neurology, ancient myths, altered-states of consciousness and the mystery of death. However, it was to take five years before this work appeared in print. Thanks to the help of Professor Bruce Greyson of the University of Virginia, an article based upon Anthony’s Cheating the Ferryman hypothesis was to appear in the Winter 2004 edition of the Journal of Near-Death Studies, the academic periodical of the International Association of Near-Death Studies (IANDS). A few months later, in early 2005, British publishing house Arcturus bought the rights to the book and, a year later, and after a substantial re-write, Anthony’s first book, with the new title Is There Life After Death – The Extraordinary Science of What Happens When We Die was published. The rest, as they say, is history. This book has now sold over 60,000 copies world-wide and has been translated into various foreign language editions including Spanish, Russian and Polish. Indeed, Anthony has now had books published in every major European language. Anthony has now written nine books, co-authored a tenth and co-edited an eleventh. All of them develop his Cheating the Ferryman hypothesis into ever-wider areas of application. His approach has always been to apply science to the mysterious and the enigmatic. His latest book - Cheating the Ferryman - is an updating of his Is There Life After Death book in the light of the latest research into a number areas of science, including quantum mechanics, cosmology and neurology. In this episode, I talk with Nikolas Schreck about his initiatory journey and what he learned among the way. It is a fascinating discussion that I think finishes with some profound thoughts and comments. Along the way, we also discuss music and the divine feminine. Acclaimed by Austria‘s Evolver magazine as “already a legend in his lifetime‘‘, singer-songwriter, author and film-maker Nikolas Schreck’s initiatory application of music, ritual and theater formally began in 1984 when he returned to the West from a life-changing spiritual pilgrimage in Egypt to found the shapeshifting musical ensemble Radio Werewolf, a nine-year sonic magic operation which concluded in 1993. Tim Walter is a house healer and alternative life coach, dowser and friend. In this episode, I talk to him about house healing - what is it? How does it work? As usual, the conversation takes it's own magical course and we cover topics like reality, expectation and much, much more. After 30 years in professional video, film, TV and conference production, primarily as a producer of high end corporate messaging, Tim now works as a house-healer and alternative life coach. In 1998 a simple house move led Tim and family to a life-changing encounter when they discovered they were sharing their new found home with a ghost.
