The Dignity of Work (L’Honneur du Travail) by Charles Péguy. This episode is an audio version of an essay written in 1913 by French poet and essayist Charles Péguy, highlighting the different ways of approaching work (artisan vs. bourgeois), and the continuity of culture over time vs. the rupture brought on by the industrial revolution.
