We found a few things to like this week, Titus O'Neil among them, but there wasn't a lot this week that instilled much faith. But this week was needed for change, and we at the Mark and Smark Connection Podcast support everyone who speaks out about abuse.
This week the Smark reviews the #NXT ppv, looks at the #WWE ppv and introduces a few clips from our planning segments, including a new tag team, a prestigious venue and the Marks gimmick if he's get the licensing.
This week Matt takes control of the show and I try to trick him into saying something stupid about the questionable Hardy story lines in #WWE, also we preview the upcoming #NXT PPV and review #AEW #DoubleOrNothing
This week we talk about some of the #WWE layoffs getting additional time, why Charlotte shouldn't get any additional time and the week that was including #NWA's new show. Reminder: we did our #AEW #DoubleOrNothing predictions in the previous podcast. Congrats Cody on the #TNTChampionship and Orange Cassidy, I mean Luchasaurus, I mean the mystery entrant we had no idea about, winning the Casino Ladder Match.
This week we tackle the upcoming #AEW PPV #DoubleOrNothing as well as the recent #WWE #MITB PPV, during which Joe, our connection didn't like the main event. We also talk about wrestlers getting pregnant (grats Becky) and the rest of the week that was.
This week, the Smark tests the #MITB knowledge of the Mark and the Connection for massive prize! Find us on twitter for more about the #WWE event. We also hit upon Sammy Guevara getting hit by a golf cart. Join us for #AEW talk.
With the Mark, Matt, out with a keyfabe headache, we have former guest Mike join in and host. MITB is coming fast, the TNT Title finals are all set for #AEW and is #WWE taking advantage of talent and us with the Jeff Hardy and Drake Maverick stories?
This week we come unedited, so you can see us in all our toxic and unprofessional glory. The Smark has a lot to say on the state of the world today, the state of wrestling, the #WWE layoffs, the #AEW championship match and more. Also the Mark and Connection chime in every once in a while.
We welcome back some guests from the show's past and hit on all the call ups for #WWE this week. We get an Angri Recap of #Wrestlemania. We fondly remember the Revival #FTR and wonder if this release breaks the dam in cost cutting releases and we also talk about Joey Ryan's tag team member.
We give rapid fire review of #WWE #Wrestlemania. Did one of us lose money on the Firefly Fun House Match? Did we all pop for the Boneyard Match? Did the WWE pull off a two-night, no crowd Wrestlemania? Next wee is #MarkAndSmark150, if you want to be a part, reach out here in the comments or on social media with your favorite memories or topics you'd like us to talk about.
This week we talk about #AEW and how well they are doing without having to plan for a major PPV. Also the Smark drops some maths on the other hosts to show how a 2-day #Wrestlemania will still leave #WWE superstars with short matches on the card. I mean there's still 13 matches booked with more likely next week. Also is Roman Reigns out of Showcase of the Immortals. We discuss sourced rumors vs Official WWE info.
This week we welcome the return of the Joe, the Connection, from a long keyfabe injury. #AEW had the biggest in ring news with two big debuts of former #WWE stars. #AEW canceled their unfortunately named special event, but #WWE is doubling down, expanding #Wrestlemania to two days (a suggestion we've made in the past) and adding Gronk as the host. Strap in, stay home, wash your hands and enjoy the team back together again.
The #WWE and #AEW have already done some empty stadium/studio style shows, but will they cancel #Wrestlemania or #AEWBloodAndGuts (or maybe change the name of the latter)? Well if you ask Hangman Page, he has some suggestions... Also #EliminationChamber was boring.
We handicap odds of #WWE Elimination chamber winners and we take a deeper dive into the #AEW after their latest PPV. Snakes, spiders, title changes and more in this week's episode. Seriously we cover a lot.
We watched our first #AEW show, #AEWRevolution, and we loved. On the other hand one of watched the #WWE Suadi show and we had mixed reviews to be kind. Are we now AEW stans? Find out in our latest podcast.
This week we lead off on #AEW as they get ready for #AEWRevolution in a few weeks with a great card and more to come. #NXT's latest PPV didn't dissapoint, and there's a chance Super Showdown will actually be good. Both of those items lead to some big moments coming for #WWE's ladies.
This week we talk about milestones for both #AEW and #WWE women's divisions. We also hit on what some disgruntled WWE starts might do next. And keep listening to find out if anyone can beat the tag team of Jesus and Scooby Doo.
This week we wonder if matches would be better if they weren't on Super Showdown (spoiler alert Reigns vs Corbin doesn't matter anywhere). Also we debate whether a 10 lashes segment to close out a show, #AEW or #WWE, is the right way to go. We also highlight some big returns on #RAW and #NXT
We get firsthand report from Houston on this year's Royal Rumble, which we actually enjoyed. We break down the Brock segment and what ended up being an eventful week after Royal Rumble.
This week the mark and Smark enter the ring at number one and two in our Topic Rumble, taking on a new topic every 90 seconds. Can we beat #AEW on a boat, #NWA and the new titles from #NWAHardTimes, and #WWE #RoyalRumble, wardrobe malfunctions, winner challenging for #NXT title, surprise entrants and more?
