Carousel Ads are effective for most marketing campaigns and for a number of reasons. Compared to a single image Ad, Carousel Ads provide the flexibility of storytelling, providing much more information on the Ad, using different Call-To-Actions on the same Ad e.t.c.Not only that, Cost-per-Click is also lower which essentially saves your Ad budget e.t.c.Support the show by rating and subscribing on www.themarketingpodcast.live.Rodecaster ProAfter 130  episodes on TMP, it's about time we upgrade our audio quality and pod equipments to make listening experience at per with top podcast standards. Podcasting similar to traditional radio allows the options of having guests on the show, in fact majority of podcasters and podcast listeners prefer guest podcasts simply because each and every episode is different from the other as different people share different experiences and have different personalities. However, this does not mean that if you prefer being solo-podcaster that you should necessarily have guests. Identify what you and your audience prefer and you can always make changes with time. One of the tool I use to book guests for my show is matchmaker.fm. It's a simple and straightforward platform that connects podcasters to guests. You can also use social media or your social network to invite guests on your show. Repurposing Content is a life-saver in Content Marketing, not only does it save you on time used to brainstorm and craft fresh content but also it allows you to use less effort and reach out to a wider audience.Content repurposing is simply crafting a single piece of content format into various formats that can be shared on various platforms to serve a wider category of audiences. Think of it this way, you might have the best blog article on a certain topic, your content might be worth a ton of value, however, if nobody is able to see it or maybe they aren't interested in that type of content format, then you are still missing out.Repurposing means transcribing this podcast episode into written format using a tool such as otter.ai and editing the transcript into a blog post as an example. I can then use a tool like canva.com and create presentation decks or slides from that blog article and post them on Linkedin. I can take an interesting and valuable sentence from the episode or maybe quote a guest on the podcast and post that on twitter. I can screenshot that quote on twitter and post it on instagram. The list goes on and on and it really depends on your level of creativity and how people relate to the various content formats. The essence behind it is to reach a wider audience.Rhodecaster ProAfter 128 episodes on TMP, it's about time we upgrade our audio quality and pod equipments to make listening experience at per with top podcast standards. Choosing between the type of content you should produce can become an overwhelming task, especially with the vast types of content that are available to us as of 2021. In episode 127, I explain the pros and cons of Podcasting and Blogging as content creation formats. Blogging has been with us much longer than podcasts and this is quite clear with the Blog per person ratio compared to Podcast per person ratio being significantly higher. Each content types have their pros and cons and complement each other in different ways to serve different purposes.2021 demands an omnichannel approach in Marketing and simply going for one content type and neglecting others, simply will not cut it. Obviously, you should focus on what you are good at, not everyone is a pitch perfect writer or a captivating  orator with microphones. However, if you own a business or brand, hiring around your weaker talent spots, ensuring you maintain an omni-channel marketing presence will put you at the front of the game.Rhodecaster ProAfter 127 episodes on TMP, it's about time we upgrade our audio quality and pod equipments to make listening experience at per with top podcast standards. 2021 is expected to bring a lot of change and innovation in the marketing world, especially in MarTech, following 2020 which has been a year of change and quick iterations.  It is safe to say that marketers will have to change and adopt to new ways of outreach and retaining the customer base. One of the most discussed topic was on a consumer-centric approach in marketing campaigns as of 2021, involving personalised & improved experiences with content and email marketing. Google has recently updated it's search algorithm as of December 2020 as it does every single year. What you might not notice is that, Google actually does these kind of updates almost every single day and core updates several times a year. Most of its search updates are usually very minimal in terms of the impact they have on your website and hence most times in the year you might not notice any changes with your website's performance.Google focuses a lot on user experience and most especially the quality of content that is on your website. In this episode I talk through some of the updates on Google's search algorithm as well as questions to ask yourself while creating content to ensure that you are creating content that Google will want to push and rank higher.Google also is updating their search console API.
