I don't get how someone can be blatantly violated and shrug it off and say "meh". To compare it to hunting is wildly inaccurate. when I aim down my sights in the woods it's luckily never been out of protection it's been out of necessity. You didn't lose the "Battle of the Burglars" you gave up. You let the very people who law abiding citizens lose rights over come into your sanctuary with complete disregard of your safety and rights come in and get their version of currency to fund their habit. I'm from central MT where meth heads run rampant and have been victim of burglary where my hard earned firearms were stolen and will be used to feed a bad habit or pay off a dealer. In a time of fight or flight you flew Cal with the justification of "well it's just random tools from pawn shops and I got my truck back" Still a huge fan of you guys and will continue to support what you guys do but that just cracked me up

Mr. Kurlansky comes off as an intelligent guy but I think his thoughts are based on study and less about field experience. This is a major issue in the environmental movement and why I left it. Its rooted in good ideas but lacks serious experience. They love quoting John Muir but they wont walk the walk. His stance on Nuclear power is a great example of this, he has a preconceived notion about alternative energy because its "green" but it often results is major habit destruction and large scale construction project that destroy habit carrying capacity.

I got stabbed in a bar fight and needed 19 units of blood. When they squeezed the unit in my arms, it would instantly come out the wounds. One of the stab wounds punctured my heart and lung at the same time.

I wish Janis was there. Ryan sometimes just ruins a conversation. Don't get me wrong, I love his weekly podcast, his voice is not well suited when talking to people sometime. I here chalk on a chalkboard. I miss Janis!

Duck processing, So for many years our duck camp has plucked and then cooled them in coolers with ice and left guts in for sometimes up to 5 days. We have not eaten the livers at all for as long as i can remember, but the gizzards and hearts are our camps favorite. Thanks for the great entertainment, Ryan from MN
