Hey Midnighters!I've been eagerly waiting to share this week’s episode of The Midnight Project with you. I’ve included some of my latest remixes that I think you’ll love. They’re woven into a powerful and profoundly immersive set, perfect for those who live and breathe techno. We dive into the energy with Marie Vaunt & Belocca's "Lost In Rhythm." Marie Vaunt has been a rising star, consistently delivering tracks that resonate with the underground pulse. What makes this track stand out even more is the collaboration with Belocca. He’s a true veteran in the scene, with a career that spans decades. Belocca’s signature style fuses classic techno elements with modern twists, making his tracks instantly recognizable. "Lost In Rhythm" is a perfect example of how Belocca can take a deep, rolling bassline and turn it into something hypnotic and powerful. Now, let’s talk about the remixes I’ve been working on. You’ll first hear my remix of Sergio Marini and Luke's "Whoopee." I wanted to amplify the original's raw energy, adding my signature touch to give it that extra punch. It’s a high-energy track that keeps building and building, and I’m thrilled with how it turned out.Later in the set, you’ll catch my remix of Horatio and Pagano's "Raving Adventure." This remix was all about capturing the essence of an authentic rave experience. I focused on keeping the vibe intense and immersive, with a driving beat that doesn’t let up. Midnighters, what a week! I just had the best experience at Desancho Estilistas, one of the most extraordinary hairdressers in Valencia. If you’re ever in the city, you’ve got to check them out. The vibe was excellent, and they gave me a fresh new look that has me feeling ready to take on anything. It’s incredible how a great haircut can change your energy, right? This week’s mix is all about that same kind of energy – sharp, fresh, and ready to move.First, we have Reality Check by NoNameLeft and Daniel Weirdo. NoNameLeft has been making serious waves with their dark, groovy beats, and Daniel Weirdo adds his own gritty touch to this track. It’s got that perfect balance of raw power and precision that gets the crowd going.Next, let’s talk about Strangers Humans by Emmy Skyer. Emmy brings her signature melodic depth to this one, blending emotion with a relentless techno rhythm. She’s a master at telling a story through sound, and this track is no exception – it pulls you in and keeps you locked to the beat. And finally, one of my favorites this week: Woo York and PÔNGO’s Talking to Myself, remixed by the legend Wehbba. Woo York’s original was a killer track, but Wehbba’s remix cranks it up with heavier kicks and an even darker atmosphere. This one is a dancefloor weapon, no doubt about it.Check out the full tracklist on 1001 Tracklists at www.1001tracklists.com/source/80bhhv…ct/index.html, and let me know which track hit you the hardest this week! Hey Midnighters,This week’s episode of The Midnight Project is extraordinary—not only because of the incredible tracks I’ve lined up but also because it’s the first show I’m producing from my new home in Spain. The energy of this place is already inspiring my work, and I can’t wait to share it with you.We kick things off with Victor Ruiz’s “Energy (Original Mix),” a track that perfectly captures the vibrant, electrifying spirit of the techno scene. Victor has a knack for creating music that hits you right in the soul; this one is no exception. It’s the perfect way to set the tone for what’s to come.I’m also excited to include a personal favorite of mine, “Coming (Original Mix).” Even though it’s been out for a year now, this track resonates with listeners and holds a special place in my sets. It encapsulates a lot of my journey in the techno world—deep bass lines, melodic touches, and a rhythm that just won’t quit. Every time I play it, it brings back the energy and passion that went into creating it.Don’t miss my remix of Sergio Marini and Luke’s “Whoopee.” I had a lot of fun reimagining this track, giving it a darker driving edge that’s perfect for those moments when you need the music to push you further. It’s all about balancing intensity and rhythm, which I always strive for in my sets.As always, this mix is a journey—a sonic exploration that takes you from the acid-infused beats of A*S*Y*S’s “Acid Phase” to the futuristic vibes of KAS:ST’s “2084 (Space 92 Extended Remix).” Each track has been carefully selected to take you deeper into the night, wherever you are.The full tracklist is available at 1001 Tracklists: https://www.1001tracklists.com/source/80bhhv/the-midnight-project/index.html. I’d love to hear your thoughts—let me know which track resonated with you the most, and if there’s an artist you think should be featured next, drop me a message. Let’s keep this techno journey going strong every Wednesday morning! For bookings, contact contact@redesignrecords.com and subscribe for a new techno mix every Wednesday at 6 AM (CET) via https://www.sebastiaanhooft.com.Stay inspired and keep the energy flowing!Sebastiaan

As I travel through the stunning landscapes of France and Spain, I'm soaking up the energy of these vibrant places, which has been the perfect inspiration for this week's episode. There's something about the rhythm of life here that syncs beautifully with the deep, driving beats of techno. Whether you're tuning in for a workout, a long drive, or just some reflective moments, this mix is designed to keep you moving and in the zone. This week, we start with "Nexus" by Bart Skils and SUDO, a track that immediately draws you in with its hypnotic groove. Bart Skils, a key figure on Adam Beyer’s Drumcode label, is known for his masterful ability to blend deep, rhythmic grooves with melodic elements. His collaboration with SUDO on this track mesmerizes, setting the perfect tone for the rest of the mix.Next, we dive into my remix of "Whoopee" by Sergio Marini and Luke. Working on this remix was an exciting challenge, as I wanted to add flavor to the dynamic track. Sergio Marini is well-respected in the Italian techno scene and is known for seamlessly merging classic and modern sounds. Luke’s contribution adds an extra layer of depth, and I’m thrilled with how the remix turned out, pushing it further into peak-time territory.Closing out this highlight is "Final Fight" by Cosmic Boys. These guys have been on a roll, consistently delivering tracks that light up the dancefloor. Hailing from France, Cosmic Boys has perfected a sound that combines powerful basslines with intricate synth work. "Final Fight" is a prime example of their ability to craft hard-hitting and melodically rich tracks.Remember, the full tracklist is available at 1001 Tracklists: www.1001tracklists.com/source/80bhhv/the-midnight-project/index.html.
