Lois Hollis shifts our opinion on the taboo subject, shame and guilt. She is a shameguilt educator, counselor, filmmaker, author who coined the word shameguilt. Lois has always been a trailblazer as she helped develop one of the first Kidney Hemodialysis Units in the USA at Thomas Jefferson University in 1966.   Today she not only shows us why shameguilt has led us to believe we are victims incapable of stellar lives but also HOW to make friends with our inner critic and kick shameguilt out of our lives.   Lois was dying at 55 and today at 79, rollerblades with her grandson because she healed from the shameguilt of an abusive childhood. Lois was scarred with brain traumas, broken jaws, heart, liver, illnesses with 30 years of migraine headaches. Her impactful story shows us the immense power we reclaim when we release the shameguilt from our inner self.   She has lectured widely, including the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, events, and podcast interviews in 15 countries. Her three books, spirit readings, and films that make shame guilt visible will teach us how and why we need to know the trickery of the shame guilt energy to accomplish our dreams.   You can learn more about Lois via her website loishollis.com and connect with her on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Instagram For more information about James Roberts (the host of the podcast), visit jamesowenroberts.com and connect with him on Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Youtube, Tik Tok and Instagram

Sara is a fitness and nutrition coach and has been working at her craft since 2015.   Origionally from Connecticut, and in 2012, I moved to the Greater Boston area, where I fell in love with nutrition and fitness. However, fitness/nutrition didn’t always come easy to me.   She was an athlete for most of my life, and after graduating college, where she was a collegiate swimmer, she experienced highs and lows with food. Sometimes gaining weight and she wasn’t eating well or exercising. Other times, counted calories, did tons of cardio, and starved. Neither ends of the spectrum were healthy, sustainable, or constructive.   These fluctuations lasted about two years before Sarah started the fitness journey you see today. Since 2015, has been learning, experimenting, losing body fat, gaining muscle, becoming much healthier, and coaching people to have a better, healthier relationship with themselves and food.   You can learn more about Sara via her website nutritionforlifeproject.com and connect with her on Facebook and Instagram   For more information about James Roberts (the host of the podcast), visit jamesowenroberts.com and connect with him on Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Youtube, Tik Tok and Instagram

After dealing with the effects of tick-borne Lyme disease for years, Bucks County native James Calcagni was inspired to help others battling their own health struggles. In February, the Temple University grad founded Liquid Limbs, a prosthetic device company designed to improve mobility for those with lower leg amputations. Dubbed the “Navigator,” Liquid Limbs’ patent-pending prototype consists of a nonslip foot, side handle and shin plate. The goal of the product is to offer stability for people walking or showering without their everyday prosthetic, which often cannot get wet because of the metal materials in them. So far Liquid Limbs has secured $21,000 in winnings from pitch competitions, including a second-place finish in Temple’s Be Your Own Boss Bowl in April. The CEO of the early stage startup was recently named one of the top innovators in Philadelphia under the age of 25 by Philadelphia Business Journal, and is now looking to secure additional funding to help with the manufacturing and launch costs of the company’s flagship product. At the age of 5, Lauren was literally thrown into a pool so she would have something to do at her sisters’ swim meets. 17 years later, with a high school state championship and a top 3 finish in the Mid-American Conference, she said goodbye to a successful swimming career. This foundation as a student athlete set the tone for high achievement in the professional world.   After 15 years in HR, Lauren received her professional coaching certification from the Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC) to feed her passion for supporting others in reaching their full potential. She started her business focused on leadership development and career advancement, but while watching the 2020 Olympic games it all changed.   As she watched Simon Biles remove herself from competition and Katie Ledecky do everything in her power to hide her disappointment following a lackluster race, she knew who she was called to serve. Athletes. It was validated when Michael Phelps told the world, "Competition is overwhelming. We just want someone to listen to us. Someone to support us mentally through the pressure-filled moments."   Lauren specializes in working with high school athletes to master the mental part of the game. Her company, Performance Reimagined, exists to show athletes there is an outlet to be heard, seen, and supported mentally and emotionally at the same level they are physically.   You can learn more about Lauren via her website www.laurenammon.com and connect with her on Linkedin and Instagram   For more information about James Roberts (the host of the podcast), visit jamesowenroberts.com and connect with him on Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Youtube and Instagram

Karl began his refereeing qualifications in January 2014 and continued to play for Harlequins while gaining experience officiating. This was made possible by the fact he never made the starting XV. Through the London Society of Referees he made his refereeing debut at the Reigate School 7s in March 2014 and since then has taken charge of a range of matches including schools, club juniors, sevens as well as local and national league clubs. Karl has refereed two A League semi-finals, Exeter v Newcastle in 2016 and Gloucester v Wasps in 2017 and made his debut in the Greene King IPA Championship in the Christmas Eve match between London Irish and Richmond. Three days later he was involved in Big Game 9 where Harlequins played Gloucester in the Aviva Premiership at Twickenham. After 169 appearances for Harlequins scrum-half Dickson announced his retirement in April and joins the Rugby Football Union's Professional Game Match Officials Team (PGMOT). Dickson said: "Over the last two years any time that I have had - a free Saturday or Sunday or even during the week - I would referee as many games as possible to get as much practice as I could. Every game you learn something new and gain increasing match sharpness. "I would always encourage players to plan for when they retire and the fact that I’ve been refereeing for three years already puts me in a position where I can look forward to starting with the team next season and, having refereed in a Championship game this year, hopefully officiate more at that level. I wouldn't have this opportunity unless I started when I did." In an interview to Rugby Players Association, he said refereeing at international level was his "main goal". A goal reached when in October 2020, Karl was appointed as the main referee in a friendly game between France and Wales, in the Stade de France.
