This defence case is surely the weakest thing ever presented in a court of law? There is no vacuum of fact - the defendants testimony outlines his version of the facts. He is the prosecutions star witness! The jury will surely take no more than an hour or two to come to the only conclusion. incidentally, I am surprised the defence barrister is permitted to try to tell the jury the prosecution has repeatedly broken the rules of the court. That is something the judge should be deciding?
