Description

The Missing Found is an investigative true crime podcast that focuses on missing person cases in the Black community that are left unsolved and cold.Statistically, African Americans receive far less media coverage than our White counterparts. According to The Black and Missing Foundation, in 2021, African Americans make up only 13% of the United States population, but our missing person percentage sits at 37%. It’s impossible to report on every case of a missing person in the country, but the divide between us and other races are severely disproportionate when it comes to media coverage. To challenge this, we started The Missing Found podcast to bring light to cases deemed unsolved and cold to offer a renewed perspective with only the hard facts, breakdown every case detail, and the possibilities thereafter. We thank you for your viewership. We look forward to conducting comprehensive analyses into the unsolved missing person cases of those who look like us.

On the cold afternoon of Sunday, December 11, 1994, in Livonia, Michigan, four year old D’Wan Sims was reported missing. D’Wan was accompanied by his mom on an afternoon outing at a local mall to do some shopping, but that outing turned grim when he just…seemingly vanished. No trace of him was ever found. It even brought into question as to was he ever there. Law enforcement performed a heavy search in the mall and surrounding areas. Little D’Wan did receive coverage, but it just didn’t produce any positive or negative outcome. In fact, it left the community of Livonia in mystery and decades of uncertainty. An innocent child, gone — just vanished. Like I always say, we know someone doesn’t just vanish. When you look at the facts of the case, it makes you question everything. It makes you question the moments after D’Wan was reported, but it also makes you question what happened before to explain the oddities on the surveillance footage. You will soon see that it’s true that four year old D’Wan Sims was missing, and still is, but you will also see that there is something is missing, something off. There is a missing piece of the puzzle, or possibly a gap in the investigation. Not everything is always what it may seem. Someone knows something, and that someone — our most vital subject, most likely has the answer, but there’s a possibility, as dark as this may sound, that it was taken to the grave.I N F O R M A T I O NLivonia Police Department: 313–421–1920C O N T A C TWEBSITE: www.themissingfound.comEMAIL: info@themissingfound.com ✉ PARTNERSHIP INQUIRES: partnership@themissingfound.comSupport this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/the-missing-found/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
On Sunday, May 16, 1976, in Austin, Texas, 20-year old Jennifer Barton had left home to hang out with a friend to go to the movies. Jennifer spent what we now know as her last moments on record at a local bar. One minute she was there, and next she was gone, but there’s always more to the story. Both friends seemingly never made it to the movie theater. After a quick stop at a local bar, with a friend, two men, a mysterious van, it ended in nearly 50 years of mystery and unanswered questions. For decades, Jennifer’s case has gone unsolved without a trace. Some don’t think she ever left Austin, then some think she may have left to go to California. Some blame her lifestyle as the reason this case remains unsolved. When you look at the details, there may have been some signs leading up to Jennifer’s disappearance. This vanishing of Jennifer may not have come by surprise. It appears she may have knew something was headed her way or harboring a secret. What we don’t know is, was this disappearance executed at random or was it in connection of something she may have been involved in by means of retaliation?I N F O R M A T I O NIf you have any information or leads in the disappearance of Jennifer Joyce Barton, her current whereabouts, or any information concerning Jennifer, it should be directed to:Austin Police Department: 512–974–5250C O N T A C TWEBSITE: www.themissingfound.comEMAIL: info@themissingfound.com ✉ PARTNERSHIP INQUIRES: partnership@themissingfound.comSupport this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/the-missing-found/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
When you think about plane accidents, they’re uncommon in aviation. Though you and I both can name at least 10 aviation crashes throughout the decades, it is still a lessened chance that one would be involved in a plane accident, let alone a plane going missing when compared to the thousands of flights that depart each day. ...but what happened on the morning of Sunday, December 6, 1992, is vastly different from the single engine piper archer aircraft that 29 year old Alan Stewart, 31 year old Amy Haxton-Stewart, 31 year-old Kevin Clarke, and 29 year old Nancy Elizabeth Branch boarded the late morning-early afternoon in Santa Barbara, California.I N F O R M A T I O NIf you have any information or leads in the disappearance of Nancy Branch, Kevin Clarke, Amy Stewart, or Alan Stewart, their current whereabouts, or any information concerning the missing four, it should be directed to:Menlo Park Police Department: 662–621–8151C O N T A C TWEBSITE: www.themissingfound.comEMAIL: info@themissingfound.com ✉ PARTNERSHIP INQUIRES: partnership@themissingfound.comSupport this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/the-missing-found/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
C A S E D E T A I L S On Friday, July 6, 2001, at around 6:00am, on the Southside of Chicago, Tracey Bradley, the mother of 3 year-old Diamond Bradley and 10 year-old Tionda Bradley, had left her two daughters home while she went to work that morning. The girls' sister, Victoria, had a birthday on the following day. Their two sisters, Rita and Victoria, spent a night with their grandmother. Sadly, neither Diamond or Tionda would be there to celebrate Victoria's birthday. Once Tracey returned home from work just before noon, on July 6, she was met with a complete startling silence. After Tracey rummaged through her apartment while yelling the girls' names, she soon realized that Diamond and Tionda were nowhere in the apartment. With Tracey frantically concerned on the whereabouts of her daughters, she discovered an odd note. Since then, there has been no sight of the girls, with speculation of sex trafficking, murder, sightings on social media, a voicemail that mysteriously disappeared, persons of interest, lies, an odd camping trip, and all of this with a common name, "George". On the summer evening of May 9, 1994, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, eighteen year old Cleashindra Hall was dropped off at her after-school job. High School graduation was just two weeks away as she was preparing to go to college and graduate high school as Valedictorian. Clea had big plans for her future with becoming a pediatrician and getting accepted into Tennessee State University’s pre-med program, but she didn’t get a chance to embark on any of her plans. Somewhere along the night, while at her job that was only minutes away from her home, something happened. Cleashindra never made it home, but was said to have been seen leaving in a car and several other stories that just doesn’t add up. Oddly, that was the last time anyone has ever heard anything from or seen her, including her supervisor —Dr. Larry Amos. In fact, it’s been 28 years and still with a lot of unanswered questions, strange things on the exact street she assumingly disappeared from, a home that contractors had reported something nearly unexplainable, and a tip that led to a search 18 years later. Still, no arrests have been made; and the case is unsolved and rather cold — even with all of the suspicion surrounding this one person. This one person may hold the answers that we all want to know, and may have always held the answers. With those closest to this one individual who may be harboring a secret from Summer 1994. A girl with an entire future, working, an honor student, a great family life…then, it goes dark. Clea just vanishes for nearly three decades. So, what happened to Cleashindra Hall on May 9, 1994? Could she have just walked away from it all to completely abandon her now past life? Left with a boy and something happened there? or was there something far more sinister with someone who she trusted, that may not have been in her circle, but was in her presence on that same night — in those last moments? If you have any information on Cleashindra "Clea" Hall, her whereabouts, or any information on her disappearance, we urge you to contact: Pine Bluff Police Department: 870–543–5111 ________________________________________ C O N T A C T www.themissingfound.com ✉ BUSINESS INQUIRES: info@themissingfound.com (This email is for business inquiries ONLY. In this video, I'm discussing the possible theory of retaliation.  There is no evidence to suggest this, but it is something to consider.  I give some public background details on the victim from the murder than landed Kevin in prison to offer insight on who he was and who he was, professionally.   I want to go back to the beginning to understand who our initial victim was and how it may have something to do with why Kevin is missing today.    Was Kevin set up?  The McClure family most likely knew he was being released due to the victim notification system, so is there something there that people are overlooking?  It's not factual, but interesting to consider.     I want to take a quick examination into this theory with you. ______________________________________ On the early morning of Thursday, January 27, 2022, Kevin Flythe was released from federal prison in Glenville, West Virginia after serving 28 years for the robbery and killing of Paul McClure in Washington, DC. While incarcerated, Kevin suffered a stroke that resulted in multiple ailments to the disability that he already had. Because of this, Kevin was granted an early release after serving 28 of his 35 years. After he was released, Kevin was driven to a Greyhound bus station in Charleston, West Virginia by officials at the prison. Kevin was expected to travel from Charleston to Washington, DC on his own, despite not being physically and mentally competent to do so. His cousin, Michelle Royster, was excited to finally be reunited with her cousin after 28 years. They all were waiting on his release date since it was approved by the judge. Though excited, no one knew he would be released on January 27, not his family, nor his attorney, Claire Madill, until the day of. In fact, Claire had reached out multiple times to obtain his exact date of release and his travel itinerary so that she can communicate the arrangement with her client, Kevin, and arrange a pick up for him. On Monday, July 5, 2021, Lopaz Richardson was last seen by his former wife, around 11:00pm in Spring, Texas. At that time, he had just dropped their daughter off at her home. Shortly before his disappearance, he had a strange conversation with her and expressed fear for his life from an altercation or some form of exchange with someone. Days later, Lopaz's truck was found in Howe, Texas, which is 5 hours away from his home in Rosenberg, Texas. Not only was his truck found, but it was found dumped with questionable actions from law enforcement, his apartment was broken into twice, and his phone, memory cards and cameras that were in his truck were all wiped clean as if someone was trying to conceal something. I also want to mention that Lopaz or Paz, as he was often referred to, is apart of a motorcycle club, which may play a large part in the days leading up to his vanishing.    What could have happened to Lopaz Richardson and where is he today? Did he walk away from his life to save his life and family or was it something far more sinister where the closest people to him were involved in making him disappear? On May 3, 2002, at around 7:40am, 7 year old Alexis Patterson and her step father, LaRon Bourgeois, walked to her school at Hi-Mount Community School, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. When Alexis didn’t come home at her usual time, her mother, Ayana Patterson, rushed to her school, only to find out that Alexis was marked absent and never made it to school that day. Alexis was never seen or heard from again. 14 years later after her disappearance, a man from Bryan, Ohio came forward to say that his ex wife, Lisa Miller, may be Alexis Patterson. Once this information got back to Ayana Patterson, Alexis’ mom, it lead her to believe that she may have found her missing daughter. With a lead being this strong, Milwaukee police does not believe this to be true — Ayanna has a different output on this lead.  If you have any information on Alexis Patterson, her whereabouts, or any information on her disappearance, we urge you to contact:   Milwaukee Sheriffs Office 414–278–4788   Milwaukee Police Department Cold Case Hotline 414–935–1212   Milwaukee Field Office of the FBI 414–276–4684   FBI Tip Website https://tips.fbi.gov/ ___________________________________ P O D C A S T  D O N A T I O N S Podcast donations are exclusively for the podcast.  All donations help us continue to present quality case analyses on our missing victims.  Though not required, it is appreciated.  Thank you for your donation. On Saturday, November 12, 2022, Delano Burkes and his two friends were in the Heights area of Houston bar hopping. They were at one bar watching the fight, and ended up leaving that bar a little past midnight. It is alleged that all three friends did have drinks, so Delano may have been tipsy at this time. After leaving the bar in the early morning on Sunday, November 13, with all three friends in Delano’s car, Delano had to go to the bathroom, so they pulled over and he went into McIntyre’s, a local bar in Heights, to use the restroom. He was escorted out of the bar at around 1:00am through a side door. Later, he was caught on surveillance camera from a local business and was seen running but he looked disheveled, as if he was under some form of influence. Delano also looked as if he was hurt or possibly running from someone or something. It’s been 14 days, and Delano has not been seen nor has there been any solid leads. For any information on Delano Burke, please contact: Crime Stoppers anonymously, at 713–222-TIPS (8477) You can submit a tip online at www.crime-stoppers.org or via mobile app in your app store. There is currently a cash reward of $5,000 for information leading to Delano Burkes. ___________________________________ P O D C A S T  D O N A T I O N S Podcast donations are exclusively for the podcast.  All donations help us continue to present quality case analyses on our missing victims.  Though not required, it is appreciated.  Thank you for your donation. In 2023, Case Episode 9, I covered a case on Asha Degree who went missing in Shelby, North Carolina on the cold early morning of Monday, February 14, 2000 — Valentines Day.Well, there has been an update. It has been 25 years since Asha has been last seen.To give some backstory, nine-year old Asha Degree was last seen by her father after a late night check in on both siblings, Asha and O’Bryant. Asha’s father, Harold, saw both children were sound to sleep in the bedroom that they shared. On the evening before, Sunday, February 13, there was a bad storm with freezing temperatures which may have contributed to a nearby car accident that hit a power pole and knocked the power out. It was a Monday, so in just a few hours they would be up and getting ready for school. However, Asha’s mom, went to wake the children to start getting ready for school at around 6:30am, and she noticed that Asha wasn’t in her bed. O’Bryant later reported hearing some noise from his sister, but by then Asha was already gone — she was nowhere in sight.I N F O R M A T I O NFBI Charlotte: 704–672–6100Cleveland County Sheriff’s Department: 704–484–4888or your local FBI office.C O N T A C TWEBSITE: www.themissingfound.comEMAIL: info@themissingfound.com✉ PARTNERSHIP INQUIRES: partnership@themissingfound.comSupport this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/the-missing-found/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
On the cold morning of Tuesday, February 23, 2010, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, twenty-five year old Tameka Anderson had set plans to purchase a used vehicle from a private seller. She had it all figured out with how she was going to get there, how she was going to pay for it, but somewhere in between something happened and things went dark.It was unclear whether she made it to the end destination to purchase the vehicle or if she even made it to Galvez — the city where the vehicle was. After fifteen years with no answers and no explanation, it makes you wonder if there is someone out there that holds the answers — you know, street code. Perhaps someone close to her; maybe not wanting to talk because they’ve seen something or know something.Details about Tameka’s personal life, including their childhood, family dynamics, and behavioral history, are currently unavailable, limiting the scope of this analysis. However, we’re going to look at the facts of the case, retrace the timeline of what we know, look at the case details, breakdown every element to piece together this nearly 20 year mystery, explore the one possibility, and close with my opinion.I N F O R M A T I O NBaton Rouge Police Department: 225–389–2000C O N T A C TWEBSITE: www.themissingfound.comEMAIL: info@themissingfound.com✉ PARTNERSHIP INQUIRES: partnership@themissingfound.comSupport this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/the-missing-found/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
On Monday, May 4, 2020, DaVohnte and his girlfriend took a 4 hour road trip from San Francisco to Mount Shasta, California. The trip was supposed to be what you’d call a “spiritual retreat” — a trip that his girlfriend recommended. They were expected to return on the next day, Tuesday, May 5 — just in time for Davohnte to attend his nephew’s birthday party, but that never happened.Davohnte’s girlfriend contacted his relative, and informed her that they got into an argument and went separate ways. All was fine, one may have thought, until he was seen on camera walking, seemingly normal, then things go dark. It’s like he just vanished. With odd behaviors from the girlfriend, there’s a high possibility that she may know more than she’s leading on. There’s also a possibility that he fell victim to someone or something in Mount Shasta — especially with the double-sided reputation it holds.Another chilling case that doesn’t have an explanation and no end in sight, but the answers are there. This wasn’t an ordinary trip, and I’ll explain why. We will get into some details about DaVohnte and who he was before he went missing, the case details, information on the retreat destination and about Mount Shasta, theories, breakdown every detail, and close with my opinion. When you mix new age spirituality with vulnerability, you may open yourself up to a multitude of things. In this case, I believe the answers are right there but the one who holds the answers just isn’t ready to talk, I believe. Maybe after this, she will be.I N F O R M A T I O NMt.
