And here is Nanny Beryl's scone recipe: 225g all-purpose flour 4tsps baking powder 55g butter 30g white sugar A handful of sultanas (optional) 115g sour cream Sift together the flour and baking powder, then rub in the butter. Stir in the sugar, sultanas and sour cream. On a floured surface, use your hands to pat the dough down to 1 inch thickness then cut out with a circular cookie cutter. Bake for around 15 minutes at 425 degrees, until they're lightly golden.
