FFW 2 minutes there was a dead zone. One important aspect of our faith that we must base all our studies on is Seeking the TRUTH. Anything we find to be false, we should throw out regardless of whether or not it might be more popular.
Obedience to the truth that has been revealed to us is the key to being led into more truth. This, I believe is very important.
Friends and family it been a crazy season. So many things has happened. Been on a short hiatus. With the purchase of a new home and trying to get everything situated.
Learn why Scripture commands that all believers must wear tassels and the importance of doing so. Of course this is my opinion according to scripture.
“If you keep your feet from breaking the Shabbat and from doing as you desire [chephets] on My holy day, if you call the Shabbat a delight [oneg] and the Lord’s day honorable… then you will find your joy in the Lord. (Isaiah 58:13–14)
Many Believers ask us: “What am I supposed to do on Shabbat?”
People often consider Sabbath-keeping a burden—or worse, as legalistic. But the Bible points to the Sabbath as a day of blessing. Jesus said, “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath” (Mark 2:27). Sabbath was designed to be a special gift to humanity, but amid the controversy between good and evil, it has been maligned.
While the Bible is full of promises, let’s look at a few that are especially focused on the Sabbath.
Many accuse those who love the law of Yahweh of being a legalist. But just what is legalism? Is it obeying the commands of Yahweh with all our hearts? Is it adding to the commands of Yahweh? Is it focusing too much on obedience and not enough on “salvation”?
There is no such word as “legalism” found anywhere in scripture,
I have read that Yeshua gave 6 commandments, and we read about them in Mark 10:17-20 when Yeshua relates a story about when a young man asks what he has to do in order to be saved. Yeshua answers that he has to follow the commandments, and the six he gave were:
Do not kill,
Do not commit adultery,
Do not steal,
Do not bear false witness,
Do not defraud,
Honor thy father and mother.
In modern culture, most of us have been raised to believe that a new day begins at midnight. There is no scriptural precedent for this belief and the way that midnight is reckoned today would be impossible without mechanical clocks.
Since Yahuah is the one who created days and nights, it is important for us to understand when He regards a new day to begin. This becomes important if we want to keep the Ten Commandments because the fourth commandment says that we must “Remember the Sabbath, to keep it holy.”
This podcast of this episode will demonstrate from the scriptures that evening marks the time when a day has ended, and a new 24-hour day begins.
YaHuah considered the Sabbath so important, so necessary for His human creation, that He kept it Himself. In fact, the final achievement in His creation of the vast universe–the last act He performed–was to bless, sanctify and rest on the seventh day.
This is episode on the first chapter of Timothy, a chapter sometimes used to in response to anyone who believes we should observe Yahweh’s commandments in the Torah/law.
There are some who believe walking in the Spirit is something completely different walking in obedience to the law of Yahweh.
Let’s begin by looking at a few scriptures that deal with this:
In this Episode I would like to think on the question, “As important as the Ten Commandments are, are the keeping of the Ten Commandments all that Yahweh desires of His people?”
Is Serving in the “Oldness of the Letter” speaking of Torah (law) Observance?
Yahushua tells us to not even THINK he came to destroy the law or prophets. If you say that He came and abolished the law, then you are saying He came to destroy it. We know that’s not true.
Often, one of the first things Christians will say when you tell them the law has not been abolished is: “you need to read the book of Galatians!” This was a little longer than expected, but Paul has a lot to say.
I think it’s important that we shouldn’t assume that because those of us from a Christian background are experienced with Messianic or “New Testament” scripture, that our baggage is somehow more likely to meet what’s being said in this Podcast.
According to scripture, IF you are ‘under the law’… then:
The law was written just for you
Sin has dominion over you
You are without faith
You are in need of redemption. Now let’s examine the scriptures in question:
We are still in our Series Has the Law been Abolished?
Just a some thoughts on the topics about believers celebrating Christmas
For various reasons, it’s is commonly believed that certain things in the word of Yahuah are Jewish.
