The road to combat sports and the life of a fighter is most often a rough one. For fighters it’s all they know, and while it’s a livelihood, there’s a price to pay. So why do they do it…??A LEVERAGE GAME MEDIA PODCASTKeep up with Fight Club on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/fightclub/?hl=en

Now with the launching pad of social media and viral moments, a beef can escalate far beyond the field of play.A LEVERAGE GAME PODCASTKeep up with Fight Club on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/fightclub/?hl=en
From team sports to individual sports, the owners, commissioners and management have unchecked levels of power over the athletes that define the sport. So is it fair? No matter your entry point, to pursue your dreams you have a path to follow. Pro sports can’t exist without fans, but when they go far it’s a big problem. Of course athletes love and appreciate their fans, but there’s a line. Then there’s when opposing fans cross that line too. What’s fair? What’s in bounds? And what is absolutely, unquestionably out of bounds?Mike and Roy open things up to reveal where the line is and what happens when it gets crossed. We love our athletes for their talents and abilities. But what has created this dynamic to where we feel we can treat them without respect or regard? A LEVERAGE GAME PODCAST
Speaking to the perspective of both the hooper and the fighter. Mike and Roy boil things down to what we should understand as fans, how we focus on the wrong things and the misconceptions that get under an athletes' skin. Making it sports means making big money. Right?? Just because you're cashing checks doesn't mean all is good. Mike and Roy examine how seven figures means a different world of responsibilities and expectations. It begins with what you think you'll get, then when it’s a reality, but also keeping on top of what you have.A LEVERAGE GAME PODCAST
From what we see in the octagon, on the court or field of play, we follow our athletes for how they success and fail. Mike and Roy take us on the other side of the camera lens and inside the mind of the athletes and what it feels like to be under the microscope. In the UFC fighters have to train for opponents, but how do they really think and feel? That's constantly on guard when the media is pressing you for answers. A wrong response is blood in the water. We wanted to expose the game within the game of how strategy starts and ends through public perception. It's one thing to be perceived as the hero and the villain, but that's part of the show. We love our heroes to say what they really feel and keep it a buck. And it's a love hate relationship at times. So now it's time to find out just how hot it is under the spotlight.A LEVERAGE GAME MEDIA PODCAST
There's so much that happens beyond the field of play. For all we think we know about the world of sports, we don't know what the athletes know about the world. Curious minds combine as Roy Hibbert and Mike Johnson exit the hardwood and the octagon respectively to share observations on the outside world. Journeying from the rigors of competition to the impact of social justice, they unearth how the big picture affects the sports world. The Never Lacking Podcast cuts no corners and holds nothing back once and for all. What's never lacking are the ideas, topics, experiences and events in our world of sports and the world around us that we’re going to explore. Never lacking on finding out what makes athletes stop and think. What makes them stop and ask questions. And what makes them who they are.
