#5: How The Military Changed My Life

DONATE TO HOUSTON: https://www.gofundme.com/harvey-relief-150-mile-ruck-march In this episode I discuss the events leading up to the most intimidating moment in my life, which was meeting my platoon for the first time.  The impact the military has left on my life has been significant and I am greatly appreciative for my time on active duty.

#4: The Power of Losing

In this episode I discuss a very common feeling that we experience as business owners or entrepreneurs.  That feeling is the power of losing.  I believe this is a crucial step in growth to continue moving forward even though it may not seem like it at all times.  Gain and maintain the offensive!

#2: What Is A Leader?

What makes a true leader? What does one act like?  In this episode I provide some insight on what I think makes a great leader from my experiences in the military and running a business.  Today, social media has a large influence and the position of "leader" is thrown out left and right.  I think it is much deeper than perceived online.

#1: Embracing The Suck

Welcome to the first episode of The Nick Bare Show!  In this episode, we discuss why I decided to start a podcast after already building content on social media platforms such as YouTube and Instagram.  While some of the content may be similar, I wanted a place to go more in depth on popular topics that I have become familiar with during my time in the military, owning a business and physical fitness. I recently shared a story in a YouTube video about "embracing the suck" and I felt obligated to go a little bit deeper due to the mass engagement and feedback it received. I talk about my time in the Army, Ranger School and lessons I learned through being aware of non-optimal situations.  Sometimes you learn the most in scenarios that feel the worst!
