A follow-up to an October episode, this week we watched the SEQUEL to Blood and Honey, as well as a remake (?) called Piglet. The Poohniverse is expanding and we are buckled up and ready to ride. Obviously, we used the Pickerwheel to determine which half of which movie we were each going to watch and we did the switch at home, since one of the movies was on Tubi. We love Tubi. Go check out the PATREON and here's the LinkTree for the whole tree of links.
On a Tuesday night in March... Alexis and Suzy sneak around the movie theater to watch halves of movies they purchased tickets for... this movie-ruining experience is better known as The Ole Switcheroo! This week we went to the ole AMC, saw Nicole Kidman step in a puddle, and then watched two halves of brand new movies The Monkey and Last Breath. To keep things fair, we used the Pickerwheel to decide who would get the first and second half of each movie. We would love to see you over on the PATREON and here's the LinkTree for the whole tree of links.
This week, Suzy and Alexis spun the Picker Wheel to determine which half to watch of the 2011 film We Bought A Zoo starring Matt Damon, ScarJo, John Michael Higgins, and That Other Guy. We would love to see you over on the PATREON and here's the LinkTree for the whole tree of links.
Alexis and Suzy are hitting you with another installment of the Saw franchise with Saw III (find the first two in the feed). Is it still torture porn when one person is listening and the other is watching? We'll let you know. As always, the coin flip was determined by the Picker Wheel. This week on our Patreon, you can hear an episode about our visit to Gobbler's Knob in Punxsutawney for Groundhog Day. Want more? We have other shows. Check 'em out: linktr.ee/nermernermer
Happy New Year from The Ole Switcheroo crew. This week we each watched half of the movie The Legend of Bagger Vance, as determined by a Picker Wheel full of movies released in the year 2000. This movie happens to be one of the primary examples of an American cinema trope called the Magical Negro. Celebrate Krampus on December 5th at your local Krampus event! This week Alexis and Suzy watched the 2015 film Krampus with a solid 50/50 split, determined by the Picker Wheel. Krampus is the character foil to jolly old Saint Nicolas; he's responsible for punishing the bad kids while Santa rewards the good ones. Please consider becoming a patron at Patreon.com/nermernermer (P.S. did you know you can become a free member of the Patreon???)Linktr.ee/nermernermer

This Halloween month is starting with Vampires Suck (2010), the Twilight spoof with a 4% on Rotten Tomatoes. Alexis and Suzy split it so that we each only had to watch less than 40 minutes.AND BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND here is the October 2024 scary movie playlist. The October 2nd movie is New Moon, not only because it is an amazing follow up to Vampires Suck but because it is the moon phase that day.BECOME A PATRON at patreon.com/nermernermerOther links at linktr.ee/nermernermer

This week, Alexis and Suzy watched episodes 1 & 3 of the Disney+ show Arctic Ascent and talked about it in the dead middle of the night. From Disney+:"Honnold has always dreamed of exploring Greenland and its unclimbed peaks. Now he and world-class climbers Hazel Findlay and Mikey Schaefer attempt to summit Ingmikortilaq, an unclimbed Arctic seacliff that rises out of the frozen wilderness and is nearly 1,000 feet higher than Free Solo’s El Capitan."Other things you should know about are the time Vanessa Hudgens and Austin Butler vandalized a rock in Sedona and the results of Alex Honnold's brain scan.If you are interested in becoming a Patron, you can! at patreon.com/nermernermerAll other important links for the show can be found at linktr.ee/nermernermer :-)

SPOILERS FOR BOTH MOVIES WITHINLASAGNAMOTORCYCLESIdeally, you’d listen to this right after watching Garfield and The Bikeriders but as April Wolfe says, it isn’t what happens in a movie but how it happens that makes a movie worth watching. Even though we’re revealing plot, I promise these half baked descriptions are not as cinematic as watching the actual movies.Alexis and Suzy once again went to the theater in person for this switch.
