2024 first episode and this month Glyn & Laura chat to Oz dairy farmers and renown showmen Daniel Bacon & Ben Govett. Daniel mikes 320 jersey cows under the prefix Broobora and is the current highest production Jersey herd in Australia. Ben of Tandara Genetics milks 300 Brown Swiss and Holstein cows  with his Holstein cows averaging 10,500 litres and the highest yielding Brown Swiss not far behind them! Both native to Victoria, Aus they are farming in some of the most challenging areas in Australia with hugely volatile weather conditions! Daniel & Ben will be travelling to UK Dairy Expo hosted at Borderway in March to cask their expert eye over the biggest and best offering from the UK dairy industry.

This month Glyn speaks with our sales teams and looks back at the year that was. The highs, the lows, what we need more of and what we need less of!   Merry Christmas from all at Harrison & Hetherington and we will be back in 2024 with more of the same fun and laughter with a sprinkle of serious talk in there too!
This month Glyn chats to  American dairy royalty in the form of Matt Engle, owner of Luck-E Holsteins,Illinois USA and John Erbsen, owner of Erbacres Holsteins, Illinois, USA. They  both share their story of the pursuit of perfection! Graham Kirkby also drops in on the conversation!

The Stair herd was established by Hugh in the 1980's when he invested in several top Holstein cow families such as the Chief Faith, Roxy and Supra.
