Show Page: Alternative Listening: By now, almost everyone has heard the idea that “the three main Pyramids on the Giza Plateau in Egypt, remarkably, ‘line up’ geometrically with the almost identical celestial spacing and angles of the three brilliant ‘Belt Stars’ of the constellation of Orion” — a theory first widely publicized in 1989 by “rogue Egyptologist,” Robert Bauval. Show Page: Alternate Listening: Years ago, I read one of Arthur C. Clarke's short stories that's really stuck with me for decades, titled "The Nine Billion Names of God." I don't want to give away the (very satisfying) ending, for Generation X or Z, but suffice to say, the story involved literally "disappearing stars" .... The reason Arthur's story was SO memorable is that such things aren't supposed to happen; stars are other "suns," and as such, are long-lived galactic creatures; even the most massive, most profligate stars -- "burning" nuclear fuels millions of times faster than the Sun -- "live" millions of years longer than is comprehensible to mortal humans .... By far, the most interesting "revelation" concerned the existence of a heretofore unknown "super-secret, Special Access Pentagon Program" for UFO "crash retrievals" ...  titled "Immaculate Constellation" -- which one of the subcommittee chairmen, Representative Nancy Mace (R-S.C.), revealed she had been warned BEFORE the hearing "NOT to mention or discuss!"
