Fubar, Colon, Blackout?

The guys welcome accomplished author Harry Carpenter back to the show. The episode starts with a recap of the band’s show at Metropolitan Kitchen in Annapolis. Brian had to make an awkward purchase at Spencers beforehand which leads to a discussion about how they each handle awkward purchases differently. Brian and Harry share stories about their Spencers purchases. At intermission, Joe calls Brian’s girlfriend Rebel to find out where she is with their food, upset that she has taken over 45 minutes to make the 5 minute trip. After break, the guys discuss Harry’s book Fubar: Blackout which is a hybrid sci-fi, thriller and military novel based loosely on Harry’s time in the military. Harry opens up about life after deployment and how he handles first world problems differently now than he did before.

Ain't No Laws When You're Drinkin' Claws

Dan and Jimmy join the guys for more bedlam in this episode. In the first block, Brian Dan and Jimmy recall a time when they were in the recording studio and a drunk intruder walked in. The record producer handed Dan a gun and told him he was responsible for defending everyone if something went wrong. He responded by feebly holding the gun under a table and quivering while Brian escorted the man out. In the second block, Brian tells the guys about an insane experience he had while walking into his cheap hotel room on a recent vacation. In the third block the guys drink moonshine, vodka and White Claw while telling more drinking stories from years past.

Wedding Crashers

Kaitlyn Medley from Flying Jacob returns to the studio today to join the gang for a recap of their friends' wedding. While the ceremony was lovely, it would have been better planned if Brian didn't spend the evening beforehand partying. Battle of the Bands from Hell

This episode is dedicated to every local musician who has ever been scammed by a booking agent or concert promoter looking to make a quick buck. Brian and Joe recap an epically insane battle of the bands they recently performed. They reveal how they were locked in the venue for over 9 hours with no guarantee on ticket sales and no clarity on what the prizes were for the winning band. Their complete lack of preparedness, disdain for the event and general nonchalant attitude make the ending of the story that much more unbelievable.

Brian strongly believes that his house is haunted and that the ghost never approved of any of his ex-girlfriends. Harry discusses his involvement with the Charm City Ghostbusters and discusses a hair raising encounter at a recent paranormal investigation. After a brief conversation about Near Death Experiences (NDEs),  the gang imagines what their personal Hells would look like.
