Your career isn’t just a paycheck, it’s a reflection of your identity, your values, and your power. In this episode, I’m joined by Certified Career Coach Meghan McCaffery to talk about one of the most pivotal (and paralyzing) questions we can face on our wealth building journies: What do I do when I know this job isn’t it, but I don’t know what’s next? If you’ve been feeling stuck, misaligned, or quietly spiraling at work, this conversation will help you reconnect to your purpose, your confidence, and your next move. Inside the episode, we cover: The biggest mindset blocks that stop women from making the career transitions they know they need The five stages of career happiness and fulfillment, and how to know which one you’re in right now Clear signs it’s time to pivot, and how to tell what kind of pivot is right for you What to do when you’re unclear on what you’re “meant” to be doing next Practical steps to start exiting a draining job today, without blowing up your life Whether the “dream job” even exists and what it really looks like for high-achieving women who want more than just a salary Your work should energize you, not exhaust you. You’re allowed to want more and this episode will help you claim it. All of Meghan's information can be found in the shownotes below. Enjoy! You’ve heard the warnings about overspending. But what if the real block to your wealth is… not spending enough? In this episode, I’m joined by Michela Allocca, the founder of Break Your Budget, to explore something rarely talked about in the financial world: the art of splurging. We dive deep into how spending more in the areas that light you up and less in the ones that you don’t isn't reckless, it's strategic. Inside the episode with Michela, we cover: How she shifted from chronic underspending to a relationship with money rooted in trust, pleasure, and abundance. Why underspending can be just as damaging as overspending—and how both come from the same scarcity-driven patterns. The mindset behind intentional splurging—and how to decide where your money creates the most value and joy. A behind-the-scenes look at Michela’s real-life “splurge strategy,” including where she spends with intention and where she consciously saves. If you’ve ever felt guilty for spending—or afraid to enjoy the money you work hard for—this episode will reframe everything. All of Michela's information can be found in the shownotes below. Enjoy! Inside the episode, we explore: How to shift from avoidance and anxiety into acceptance and clear action Why the path to debt freedom isn’t one-size-fits-all—and how to find what actually works for you The first small but powerful steps you can take to stop spiraling and start stabilizing The biggest debt mistakes high-achieving women make (and what to do instead) A real conversation on credit cards: perks, points, and whether they’re worth the cost The do’s and don’ts of debt settlement (including red flags and realities) How to know when it’s time to bring in professional support—and who you can actually trust Whether your debt feels like a dull background hum or a daily panic, this episode will leave you feeling seen, equipped, and grounded in your power. If you’ve ever felt like you “should be further along by now” but can’t quite figure out why you keep spiraling back into the same patterns—this episode is for you. In today’s conversation, we’re unpacking four sneaky stories that high-achieving women like you unknowingly carry—stories that keep your life, your money, and your potential small and stagnant. These aren’t just passing thoughts. They are power sentences that are driving the results you're able to create with your money and elsewhere. It's the self-talk that quietly drives your choices, your bank account, and your self-trust. We’re diving into: The “I’m bad at this” belief that shuts you down before you even try The “I can’t have that” story that makes you opt out of the life you secretly want The “It’s not working” loop that keeps you hopping from one quick fix to the next And the “I can’t handle this” pattern that leaves you outsourcing your power to purchases, panic, or procrastination This episode will help you name the narratives that have been running the show—so you can rewrite them with clarity, compassion, and power. It’s time to stop outsourcing your peace, your money, and your potential to outdated stories. Let’s shift the script. Is money a main source of tension and conflict in your relationship? If so, you and your partner might not be financially compatible. Not being able to afford something is a financial circumstance we all deal with. For most of us, there will always be a list of things we desire, but don't have the money for. But why is not being able to afford something so painful to us? Is it becuase of the lack of money? Or is it becuase of what we make the "lack" of money mean? Trying to escape the discomfort of unmet desire is what drives so many of us into debt, buying things we cannot afford and living a life trying to keep up with the Jones's. In this week's epsidoe of The Money Love Podcast we're talking about what to do when you can't afford something. We're covering how to know what it looks like when you can't afford something, why not being able to afford something is so emotioanlly uncomfortable for us, what causes us to overextend ourselves, and Paige offers her 4 practical tools and tips to ensure you're not spending money you don't have and buying things you can't afford. Enjoy! Resources mentioned in this episode: Quote: "We spend money we don't have to buy things we don't want to impress people we don't like." - Will Rogers Quote: "Desire is a contract you make with yourself to be unhappy until you get what you want." - Naval Ravikant Quote: "There aren’t many iron laws of money. Is that thing you're buying expensive or valuable? Is it actually expensive or do you just perceive it as being expesive? We often confuse or conflate the two, thinking that all things that are expensive are valuable and vice versa. But what if something can be inexpensive and expensive at the same time? What if something can be inexpensive and also highly valuable? In this week's episode of The Money Love Podcast we're breaking down the important difference between something being expensive and valuable. Becoming a value focused buyer, rather than a price focused buyer is an essential step in becoming a more purposeful and skilled spender. In this episode we are going to be covering what expensive really means (and how you viewing something as expensive doesn't mean it really is), how something that costs a little bit of money can be highly expensive, what the value formula is, and my favorite tools to increase your capacity for more money & financial abundance. You don't need another budget. You need a spending system. So many people give up on budgeting after putting their expenses on paper and then fail to implement it in their real life. A budget will do you no good if it's not guiding your everyday decisions while also helping you reach your long-term financial goals automatically. Instead of creating another budget that you'll ultimately give up on, you need to create a system for your money that runs on minimal effort and energy from you. Look no further than this week's episode to get your spending system up and running. In this week's episode we're diving into what a spending system is and why you need one with Shana and Vanessa, The Budget Besties. Shana and Vanessa are best friends, business partners, and Master Certified Finanicial Coaches who help their clients set up a spending system that runs automatically, shows you exactly where your money is going, and gives you permission to spend. In this episode we discuss the biggest mindset blocks that are keeping from you from effectively managing your money, why you don't need another budget but rather a budget system, Shana and Vanessa's budget system and the 5 different pillars of it, why automation is your friend, and which bank accounts they recommend using to implement their system.
