The trade deadline is here and it appears the Steelers haven’t done anything. The Chargers traded for Trevor Penning to help out their offensive line that is in some disarray. The Steelers WR help will be capped with Marquez Valdes-Scantling, who was signed to the practice squad yesterday.
A few calls on the trade deadline fallout. Poni had very short patience.

We are just over an hour away from the NFL Trade Deadline. Still nothing from the Steelers today. Poni’s latest WR rumor is that the Steelers called the Cardinals about Marvin Harrison Jr., but it doesn’t seem like talks picked up much steam. Do the Steelers have their toes in any other waters as of now?
Could Deebo Samuel be on the move as this deadline approaches? The guys don’t seem to like that move much at all. Did the Steelers miss out on Rashid Shaheed?

NFL Trade Deadline day is here. The Steelers haven’t made a move. A few WRs are off the board and one team is doing a total fire sale. What if they come away with nothing? The only new guys are Kyle Dugger and Marquez Valdes-Scantling, one of which was just a practice squad signing. Is Jaylen Waddle a realistic option?
The Jets are going full fire sale during this trade deadline. They now have 3 1st round picks in 2027.

They made a move for Kyle Dugger last week, but no moves made today and nothing to improve the offense, other than Marquez Valdes-Scantling to the practice squad. Did Omar fail his test today? The Steelers were coming off 2 very disappointing defensive performances that had a lot of people rolling out on them before they responded in a big way yesterday. Poni said it’s a different NFL today than it was going into the action yesterday – and that is reason for some optimism. Did TJ Watt have a ‘great’ game yesterday? The guys talked about some other adjustments made by the defense that made a difference.

The Steelers just signed Marquez Valdes-Scantling. Aaron Rodgers called him a “special guy”. The Steelers also just cut Beanie Bishop. The NFL Trade Deadline is tomorrow at 4:00 PM. George Pickens has been outstanding in Dallas, could he be on the move? Will the Steelers have MVS or Austin higher on the depth chart. What does the MVS signing mean for Roman Wilson?

Donny Football Debrief – Jerry Jones said on a radio show that the Cowboys made a trade, but he won’t say who it was. Apparently, it will be revealed tomorrow. Rumor has it that it may be Trey Hendrickson. Joe Alt is out for the year, as announced today. YouTube TV and Disney have to figure it out.
Poni says that he’s impressed by the way that Aaron Rodgers will criticize himself and the offense, even after wins. The Steelers spread out the offense more than they usually do yesterday, and Calvin Austin took advantage. Aaron Rodgers was likely unhappy with Roman Wilson’s fumble in the fourth quarter. Mullsy was not a fan of the offense’s performance yesterday, as they averaged under 4 yards per play.

VICTORY MONDAY. The Steelers beat the Colts, who came into the game 7-1 on the season. A bludgeoning did take place, but it was the Steelers laying the lumber to the best offense in football. The Steelers forced 6 turnovers, including one on special teams, in the win. Is this something they can count on every week? Some people are coming out of the game not feeling great after a pretty comfy win against a good team. Poni isn’t ready to crown them as AFC North champs again, but gravity around the league is hovering closer to .500 after Sunday. Did yesterday’s game do anything for your optimism?
