When Jamie Maddox started her journey in Soul Offer, she planned on going in a completely different direction.   As someone who had overcome a lot of trauma in her life, she felt called to support others experiencing trauma. And so we designed an offer that centered around Oppositional Defiance Disorder, which is a mental illness her daughter suffered from and that Jamie had learned to cope with.   However, try as she might the offer didn’t work. No matter the marketing shifts we made and the energy work she did, it just was not moving forward.    We went back to the drawing board, and designed an offer more compatible with Jamie’s Human Design, life experience, and nodal path.   Within the week, she had sold her first high-ticket offer!   Tune in to this week’s episode to learn how Jamie went from hearing “no” over and over again to selling her Soul Offer quick, and why the biggest win is how excited she feels to go out and offer it again and again.   This story is truly about how the path is not always linear, but it is always perfect, especially when you are willing to take aligned, sometimes scary action, and keep going until you make it. The other day, I posted this question in a large group for mothers who own businesses:   “Do you trust a business coach who needs their own business coach? (Edited to add: everyone needs a coach, but specifically those *business coaches* who need a business coach)?”   And yes, I knew what I was doing. I expected that there would be lots of responses, but I was shocked at how overwhelmingly they leaned to one side. Out of the over 60 responses, every single person except 1 responded emphatically YES. The responses tended to be quite emotional, and they even somewhat aggressively defended their point.     I was also surprised and somewhat disappointed at the homogeneity of their industries. Without fail, almost every single responder was, themselves, a business coach.   Ugh. The downward spiral of coaches serving coaches who coach coaches rears its ugly head.   As you’ve figured out by now, I have a different opinion. When Katie Rossler asked me to speak at her event about balance, I thought about how my life has turned upside down int he past 3 months. In that short time, I had my third child, came back from maternity leave and moved into a new home.   As if moving with 3 children under 5 isn’t enough, creating a community in a new town, continuing to run my business, and attempting to maintain my own health and sanity as a non-sacral feels like 3 full time jobs in one.   I thought about what I have time for, and how I’ve been forced to create balance in my life because there are simply not enough hours in the day.   —> And, I know that I am so blessed to have a thriving business. After all it is so much easier to maintain than to grow.   But you are likely in the growth stage of your business. So I thought about if I were starting over… If I had no audience, no business, no successful clients, no reputation. And I still had my 3 small children and only the 10 or 20 hours per week I have now - what would I do?   I answer that question in this interview. Maranda Bower is a Postpartum Nutrition Specialist, Mom of 4, Projector Human Design and Sisterhood Client who has built a six-figure business in one of the absolute most difficult spaces online, the motherhood space.   Because of the truth and hard-hitting knowledge she shares that goes against our patriarchal healthcare industry, she has had multiple people try to discredit her work, and has been kicked out of facebook groups, certifications, and more.
