In this message, Paul Vendryes emphasizes the power of words in Scripture and how they shape our faith and actions. He warns against the danger of pride, calling it a root of sin and a barrier to surrendering fully to God. Drawing from Luke 9:23, Paul highlights the call to daily self-denial and authentic discipleship. He challenges the congregation to assess their spiritual posture—are you in the game, on the sidelines, or in the stands? Through Matthew 28, he reminds believers of their mission to make disciples. The sermon closes with a charge to remain vigilant, stay on mission, and recognize the spiritual battle for our families, joy, and eternal future.

Pastor Marcos Mercado explores the often confusing journey of following Jesus, reminding listeners that while God’s plans may not always make sense, he is always at work. Drawing from Matthew 3 and 4, it highlights how even Jesus was led by the Spirit into a season of testing immediately after being affirmed by God. True discipleship, the sermon teaches, involves answering Jesus’ call, allowing him to transform our hearts, and actively joining his mission. It emphasizes that every blessing often comes with tests, but those tests are meant to grow and refine us. Through all seasons, believers are encouraged to trust God, remember Jesus’ sacrifice, and support one another as they live out their faith together.

This week's message centers on the power and purpose of partnership—with God, one another, and people of peace. The sermon opens with encouragement for the church family to connect and build deep relationships as part of their spiritual journey.
The speaker draws from Luke 10, where Jesus sends out disciples two by two, emphasizing that we are not meant to walk or serve alone. True partnership requires humility, trust, love, and good communication. These partnerships are not just spiritual but also practical, such as finding trustworthy people in everyday life.
The sermon highlights:
Partnership with God: Trusting God's plan, even when it doesn’t make sense, and recognizing that being used by Him is a privilege.
Partnership with one another: Building up the church community, encouraging each other’s talents, and collaborating in ministry.
Partnership with people of peace: Seeking and recognizing those open to relationship and the gospel—individuals who welcome and support God’s work.
Several personal stories and examples illustrate how unexpected connections can become powerful partnerships.
The message closes with a call to notice what God is doing around us and to step into the opportunities he presents.

In this powerful message, Chase dives deep into the topic of identity. He challenges us to ask a tough but important question: Could we, like the Pharisees, be so caught up in our own rules and idea of being "good" that we miss what Jesus is actually doing?
Drawing from the story of the man healed at the pool (and a great clip from "The Chosen"!), he explores how our insecurities and the identities we build for ourselves can get in the way of our relationship with God. Using the Parable of the Sower, Chase helps us check the "soil" of our own hearts and encourages us to stop striving. The sermon is all about letting go of the heavy burden of who we think we should be and finding true rest and purpose in who we are in Christ.
It’s a fantastic message for anyone ready to trade worry for peace. Hope you get a chance to listen

Continuing with our "Come Home" theme, Women's Ministry Leader Christina Maldonado delivered the message titled "Lost & Found" and reflected on the characteristics of the woman in Luke 15 and how we get to see God's relentless pursuit of us even as we can get lost in the church. If you missed the message be sure to click here to watch to it and don't forget to review the challenges posed (listed below) during the message.
Homework:
1. Reflect on Luke 15. How has God searched for you? Pray a prayer of gratitude, write a letter to God and/or share about your reflection with someone.
2. Who has God used to search after you? Send them a message of gratitude.
3. How is God calling you back home? Share about that this week and begin the process of coming home.
For Easter Service, Pastor Angel Maldonado has a special message for us.
